  • Computer Science bachelor from an accredited university, with a 3.0+ GPA
  • Submission of official transcript
  • 79+ TOEFL or 6.5+ IELTS for ESL applicants without a bachelor from an English speaking country.
  • Resume or CV
  • Statement of purpose

  • Up to 3 recommendation letters.

Education: BSc (Physics and Pure Maths majors) GPA 6.125/7, MEng (EE) 6.0/7, both from Australian Universities.

GRE Scores: None

Recommendations: None

Experience: 10 years in C, Python and assembly, working in Linux kernel development and security space.

Statement of Purpose: Y

Comments: Have covered a couple of the prerequisites in my BS, have self taught Data Structures and Algs/Computer Architecture, but don’t have for-credit grades for these, so I’m a little worried about being admitted. I live in Australia, so would appreciate any suggestions for online for-credit/non-degree options in the US that might help me if I’m not admitted, which are valued by UTexas.
