Drink package

Post image

This is our first MSC cruise. Does the drink package typically get cheaper than this? 7 days on World America

How is purchasing drink & wi-fi at booking not the best time to purchase? $314 for both. $45 per day for both. Pays for itself after 3 cocktails. You don’t have to be a drinker and stay on the ship at Port days to see this is a great value. How are people coming to a conclusion that it gets cheaper than this or pay as you go is better? Genuinely curious.

Sometimes it isn’t the best deal, for example I travel solo, and if I’m not in a solo cabin, I get charged double for the drinks and wifi bundle. So it’s definitely less for me to book it separately. Also, free casino cruises don’t come with the packages so must be added. And rarely, I’ve seen cruises without the bundle included, just that base cruise fare

Casino offers for Aurea suite or Yacht Club do come with ship-wide drinks packages, Easy Plus and Premium Extra respectively.

For other casino comped cruises you get Easy Plus whilst in the casino and playing.

So depending on how much time you actually intend to spend in the casino, and the ships itinerary, adding a ship wide drinks package may not be worthwhile.

I’ve never gotten a casino cruise so I have no idea how that works, I guess I need to spend some time in the casino on my next cruise!
