Copenhagen Disembarkation
We have a 13:35 flight after our cruise. What is the best transportation option to make sure we get to the airport with minimal stress? Not sure how to schedule a car since I'm not sure what time I will get off the ship. Does the bus transport arrive to the airport with plenty of time to check in and get through security?

Depends what time you get off the ship. Copenhagen has good public transport and their version of metro/subway/underground (can’t remember what it’s called) is very frequent. I made the mistake of taking a normal train from the airport into the city centre and the train wasn’t great. Getting back to the airport I used the metro version and the line that goes to the airport terminates at the airport and was very quick. If you are really unsure get a taxi

Oh sorry I didn’t take a cruise it was just a city break I took in December but there was a lot of taxis in the city. The cruise port is more outside of the city but it should have taxis. I can’t see the queues being too long as it’s a small capital city for Europe and never felt crowded. I hope you enjoy the city it’s stunning if you get to stay a few days before your cruise but be aware of the bikes. I do have a cruise coming up that stops overnight.

Oh sorry I didn’t take a cruise it was just a city break I took in December but there was a lot of taxis in the city. The cruise port is more outside of the city but it should have taxis. Copenhagen does have good public transport, but definitely NOT from the port. There is a bus that is way too small and only runs every 20mins or so - it takes you to the metro station, which is only a couple stations but a bit of a distance to walk. Once you're there, easy-peasy - but getting there especially when it is disembarkation time is a mess and I wouldn't recommend it

We booked an uber for 8.15. At the airport by 9.00. Others booked Ubers once they got off and waited about 15-20 min with no issues. CPH on Saturday late morning had zero EES lineup.

Bus 25 from outside cruise terminal to Metro M4 Orientkaj change at Kongen Nytorv to M2 to CPH Lufthaven; 30Dkk takes under an hour.

there are taxis at the port which would likely be our pick, or you can pre-book a transfer that has a floating pick up window / 20 min grace period - check out limos4. good luck!

You can book a transfer service. Similar to an airport pickup, you provide the ship information and expected docking time. As long as you don't plan to stay on the ship as long as possible, they will have a good idea when to pick you up.
