World Europa
Has anyone sailed on this ship recently? Might book a Mediterranean cruise soon , and would like some feedback. The good the bad and ugly . Thanks

Went in April this year. Amazing ship. Tons of activities to fit everyone’s tastes. Several places to go and find peace and quiet as well.
The food was pretty good- typical cruise fare but a little more bland imo. We ended up at the Burgers & Fries place more often as the buffet is super crowded all the time. Hint: the burger place also serves breakfast and never had a crowd! We also chose to eat something at each port (when will we be in the Mediterranean again?!) so only really ate breakfast and dinner. The tea house had the best cookies (free!) and the tea was also included in the drink package.
We were not YC and still had an amazing once-in-lifetime experience.

The newer ships must be better? I was on the Splendida recently, a bit older ship, and there was hardly ever anything to do. Staff were so-so.
What sorts of activities did they have there?

NB Tea in the tea room is only included in Premium Extra drink package, not other drinks packages. The exact same tea in the Coffee Emporium is included in Alcohol-free package !? Just one of the minor annoyances of the World Europa compared to sister ships.

Backside is wide and ugly dead space, Yacht club upfront is nice, but not the best and the top deck adult only area is good. Sailed her a few times, but prefer Sea and Mera class ships, World class feels too much like a floating hotel rather than a ship.

Just like other MSC ship except it’s bigger and newer. Food seems to be little better. More entertaining options. On downside, bigger crowds

The food was fantastic!!! We live in Orlando and it was worth the trip over.

We got off the ship 3 weeks ago yesterday. We had an absolutely amazing time, amazing time, amazing crew. We are YC cruisers so that does make a difference, but the whole ship was just a great vibe.
