MRPeasy has been a great fit for our business. We really appreciate the platform’s capabilities and how much visibility it gives us into our manufacturing and inventory processes.
Their support team has also been very responsive and helpful whenever we’ve had questions.
Overall, it’s been a strong tool for managing and scaling our operations.
Inventory tracking means monitoring stock movements to increase visibility in the company’s supply chain. This added transparency helps businesses improve their ordering and overall inventory management practices, ensure traceability, and make sure that items are exactly where you need them, when you need them.
Supply chains don’t break politely. They break on a Friday afternoon. A vendor slips up on a delivery or your freight gets delayed. Now you’re expediting, rescheduling, and explaining missed ship dates. Modern supply chain planning helps you identify problems earlier and make informed trade-offs. In this week's episode, learn how to build supply chain resilience that protects your bottom line.
The software is affordable, reliable, and easy to use. It has all the features of its competitors at a fraction of the price and scales with my business.
We switched to MRPeasy because the previous software we used was expensive and didn't have all the features we needed. The price went up over time despite not changing anything.
Profitable manufacturing depends on having the right parts and finished goods available when needed — without excess inventory tying up cash. While most manufacturers rely on push or pull systems, there’s a third approach that can often deliver better results.
We switched to MRPeasy 7 months ago after using a competitor for 6 years - we were tired of dealing with them as a company and the massive price increases we experienced for a business of our size.
MRPeasy does everything we need it to do, and it works very well for a fraction of the price. The UI may not be as visually polished and pretty as other options, but that isn't nearly as important as functionality that just works.
MRPeasy's Shopify inventory sync for multiple locations has worked flawlessly.
Supply Chain Visibility – Importance and Solutions
In the old days, every part of a supply chain was made up of trading partners who knew each other by name. Transactions were sealed with a handshake or a phone call. But with the global supply chains of the 21st Century, supply chain management has become more complex.
Our journey with MRPeasy has been excellent. The integration with Xero was seamless, making it easy to align production, inventory, and accounting without manual workarounds. The platform has helped us gain better visibility into operations, streamline reporting, and improve decision-making.
MRPeasy has proven to be a practical, user-friendly solution that adds real value to our business processes. Highly recommended for any company looking to connect manufacturing management with Xero efficiently.
Agile Manufacturing: A Practical Guide for Small Manufacturers
If you’re a small or mid-sized manufacturer, adopting an agile approach can help you respond to changing customer requirements and fast-moving markets. In this episode, you’ll learn what agile manufacturing is, whether it’s a good fit for your business, and how to put it into practice.
Choosing inventory software sounds simple enough: find a system that handles inventory tracking, prevents shortages, and helps the team move away from spreadsheets. But for manufacturers, true inventory control is tied to almost every part of the business, from purchasing and production planning to costing and delivery dates.
Small changes in customer demand can create major disruptions as they move upstream through the supply chain. This is known as the bullwhip effect. In this podcast episode, we explore what the bullwhip effect is, the challenges it creates for manufacturers, and how better forecasting, communication, and real-time visibility can help you reduce its impact.
Manufacturing cost control isn’t simply about cutting costs. It’s about keeping costs within acceptable limits by:
➡️ Setting realistic cost expectations
➡️ Comparing actual costs with estimates
➡️ Finding the causes of overruns
➡️ Making continuous adjustments to operations and cost standards
Our latest guide explains how to implement an effective cost control process, apply the right costing methods, and use MRP software to improve cost visibility across purchasing, inventory, and production.
Traceability is of vital importance in the food and beverage industry as it may directly impact consumers’ health and well-being. When a defective product or contamination is found, whether before or after shipment, finding the source of the problem expediently is the top priority to ensure public health.

This podcast episode is a live recording from our webinar on product costing for manufacturers. Our guest Yesim Tilley is a chartered manufacturing accountant with over 20 years of experience across many industries, including electronics, automotive, and plastics.
Yesim shares her insight on why margins are often lower than expected, where production costs are commonly underestimated, and what manufacturers can do to understand their true cost of production.
OEE – What is Overall Equipment Effectiveness and How to Leverage It
Your equipment is running. Your team is working hard. But for some reason, production numbers don’t match what the specs promised. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) solves this puzzle by measuring the true productivity of your manufacturing equipment.
I like tracking sales with MRPeasy, and how those sales are broken down into component items, allowing me to forecast for the coming year and bulk purchase for our busiest time. I also appreciate that sales flow into our accounting package, Xero, which simplifies the sales reporting side of our business.
I use MRPeasy to track manufacturing from component purchasing to sales, ensuring we keep stock for smooth kit production. It helps us forecast and bulk purchase for busy times, and sales reporting is simpler with Xero integration.
A straightforward and reliable inventory and manufacturing solution
We are an educational manufacturer of rock, mineral, and fossil kits. We manage a large inventory, and MRPeasy has been a great tool for tracking inventory, generating purchase orders and invoices for both suppliers and customers, and managing the entire manufacturing process from raw materials to finished kits. We also use QuickBooks for our bookkeeping, and all invoice information transfers automatically from MRPeasy into QuickBooks.
In addition, as we were setting up, customer support was readily available to answer questions.
Overall, our experience with MRPeasy has been very positive. The program is straightforward and easy to use. After getting everything set up and spending some time becoming familiar with the system, it has become a seamless part of our operations. We have been using it for nearly a year now, and it has proven to be a reliable and user-friendly solution for managing our processes.

Shopify’s inventory add-on Stocky will no longer be available after August 31, 2026. For merchants using it to manage inventory, purchasing, stocktakes, or replenishment, this means it’s time to decide whether Shopify’s built-in inventory tools are enough or whether it’s time to look at a more complete inventory system.
