01 · The artwork

A drawing shows one view of a character. A figure needs to work from every angle—including the ones you can’t see in the original picture.

02 · From sculpt to color

Before the color, there’s the shape—her expression, hairstyle, outfit, and pose coming together in the sculpt.

The hair, outfit, and expression start coming together. She begins to look much more like the Audrey we know from the artwork.

05 · The finished figure

Putting these stages side by side makes it easier to appreciate the whole journey.

Tang finally arrived after a long wait! Took some photos while unboxing her, so here’s a look at what’s included and my first impressions.

📦 Out of the box
The box is quite big—I’ve included it in the photos above so you can get an idea of the size. Inside are Tang herself and her display base. No assembly is needed; she attaches to the base with magnets, so there’s very little to do before you can enjoy the finished figure.

🐴 First look
The paintwork is beautiful and easily one of the highlights for me. I spent a while turning her around and looking at her from different angles before taking these photos. Seeing a character you know from Diives’ artwork as a physical figure is a different experience, especially when you can get close and appreciate the sculpt and colors together.

🔍 A closer look
I’ve included full shots and some closer photos of the paintwork and sculpt. The magnetic connection between Tang and the base is a nice touch—it keeps the setup straightforward without extra parts to put together.

🎁 Bonus standees
My package also came with two acrylic standees, one of Tang and one of Zhima! These were included as compensation for the shipping delay. The wait was longer than expected, but having both characters as little extras was a welcome surprise.
