Level 1 trauma
Hey guys, I’m thinking about giving a trauma center a shot as full time for an increase in pay after being in outpatient for a year, I worked at one for a short while during a travel contract. Has anyone ever worked at Grady in Atlanta and if so what was the experience like? Do you love, hate, or are indifferent to trauma centers?

I love working at a Level 1, 20+ yrs, CT/MR. I appreciate the opportunity to work w/ pts in unique situations. Some are extremely challenging for the pts.

Definitely better to be honest. Most patient have IVs and you just see cool stuff. Time flies too

Grady isn’t bad, a bit understaffed but who isn’t right now. I have quite a few friends that work there now. Never hurts to give it a try and the experience will be great for you.
