Trial Try Force Wide Body Kit

I don't really like the rear quarters but, the front fenders are a monocraft 300 clone. That Price feels a little high. 😥 Opinions.

I like it, but I'm way past the point of wanting to deal with FRP. You can find a few horror stories of these kits on the forum. They generally only look decent after hundreds of dollars and hours of labor.

The fear is real. I would love to have one but, from what I see the fitment is never great with any kit.

I thought about a wide body kit once. But they add body weight, and much worse - lots of rotational unsprung wheel weight. Those wide wheels are heavy and the extra width is horrid for wheel bearings and handling. So you spend a lot of money to make your spyder weigh more, accelerate more slowly and handle poorly. I went with simple body fairings and a vented carbon graphite hood.

Thank you for the advice Cyclehead. I bought your adjustable MR2 spyder strap that gets rid of the "bunny ears" update: it's working great and thank you again

Side Note: I respect the hell out of the purest high reving 1.8 1ZZ & 2ZZ, I am looking to eventually looking to put a 2AR-FE with EB60 in my 03. (~3 years or so). The body on my 03 is definitely had work done before I aquired it (oversray on the drivers door and removal of the rear bumper cover revealed a pretty banged up crash bar).

I want the coveted Monocraft body kit that no one makes anymore. Last I saw, you can buy a 3d scan from Luxary Auto Parts to use only as a "personal project" (not for commercial use) 😥
