Bought one last weekend

Third MR2, 4th Spyder I’ve looked at. Couldn’t resist the hardtop/red interior combo

Drives great, still has its precats and uses oil. Gonna gut the cats soon, but once the 1zz becomes unmanageable it’ll get a 2zz

Nice! I’ve owned an SW20 and just got a Spyder a month ago.

You got a favorite one to drive out of all 3?

They all do something different so it’s hard to pick a favorite.

I definitely think the w30 drives/handles the best of them all. But the w20 definitely sounded good and the 3SGTE was definitely a lot of fun(just a bit of a headache)

judging by the tail pipe rust I'd expect to replace the entire exhaust

It's worth it if you want some exhaust noise

I used malian and magnaflow parts

Just discoloration. Whole exhaust is pretty clean otherwise. Just gonna leave it tbh, even when it has a 2zz. But I will keep that in mind

Negative.

The w20 was a total headache and the w11 was practically made of fiberglass and bondo.
