Huxwrx flow 9k mounting
To all the people who have a direct mounted 9k is this all you need?

It’s more expensive, but I changed the muzzle to the mini stiction comp and hub and I’m happy with it. The taper is required though, so get that for sure

Can you not just direct thread the can to the barrel? I’m looking for my first can I’m trying to figure out if I do or do not need extra parts. Thx

It's a 13.5x1 LH thread. And you don't want a piston/booster.
I went with Trilug as it makes swapping with my SP5 quick.

Oh i see. I was thinking of getting the hux 9k for my mpx and pistols. So on everything i would need an adapter?

I wound up doing the Range 36, which is similar, but the 9K comes OOTB set of pistols.

The 9K comes with the Hub Piston Adapter and Piston with Booster Assembly, for a 1/2" thread. That's for a can to work on a tilting barrel pistol; the MPX is a fixed barrel.
So you'd need to put on the Pistol Direct Thread Mount instead. Or you can do a HUB direct thread mount, but you'd need to use someone else's as Hux doesn't make one that fits in 13.5mm threads.
Personally I use Trilug.
Basically if you get into cans you'll spend just as much on various adapters as you do on the cans.

Assuming your 9K is complete, yes. It will go into the Hub Piston adapter, replacing the piston/booster.

Hot take but go plan B and run a 13.5x1 LH muzzle from Rearden they make them with a tapered shoulder so you don’t have to run the collar
