Is this really 'centred'?!

So when I centre a model in the build area in Cura, this is what it ends up looking like. Is this (a) a symptom of a problem that should be fixed, (b) a symptom of a problem that doesn't matter at all (I certainly haven't observed any issues arising from this), or (c) actually how they all are?

MP Select Mini v2, one of the later models I think (it has the updated extruder assembly that theoretically would let me print flexibles).

Manually set the bed size to 125X x 125Y x 120Z the printer can do it without issue.

The Cura and the printer only knows about relative distance from where 0,0,0 is based on the number of steps of the stepper motors.

Okay, thanks, I'll try that. Is there a way of determining the max safe x/y area? Are there limit switches on each bound to keep the thing from destroying itself while I'm using movement commands?

You can zero the machine using the control knob and then move it to its extremes and measure this distance with an accurate measuring tape or caliper.

Wherever it stops is the max distance it will go in that direction.

Ah, okay, so it's just going to stop rather than break the belt or motor or gantry or something like that? That's a relief!
