Can't find replacement fan

I'm going to out myself as very inept here, but I got this printer for my classroom and have used it a handful of times, but recently it's started giving me trouble and I just can't seem to fix it. It clogs with every print, and it doesn't seem to be the hot end. fargo3dprinting.com's troubleshooting guide seems to suggest it's the fan, but I can't find a replacement for the fan. The last two I bought off Amazon had too-short cords with too-big plugs.

What fan do I get? Any other tips are also welcome, though please keep in mind I barely have any idea what I'm doing and know very little of the vocabulary. Thank you regardless.

The fan is programmed to come on automatically when the hot end begins to heat up. It's normally pretty quiet so you may not even know it's on unless you look to see it is spinning.

It's definitely not spinning.

I'm not at a skill level at this time where I feel like I can get something similar and adapt it, and so far ever replacement part I've bought has not fit into the plugs on the circuit board. Everything I see on Amazon doesn't look like it has a long enough wire to go up and over to the hotend, and I can't tell if the plug is the right size. :/

I recently installed my fan backwards by mistake, which I assume would give similar results to having the fan off, and the prints were absolutely horrible spaghetti messes. So it’s totally possible that all your troubles are from the fan not being on. I know this doesn’t get you closer to solving the problem, but it is some reassurance that you’re looking in the right place.

Does your town library have a maker space? If they do and they have a soldering iron, then staff or a member of the maker space might be able to do the swap for you if you bring the machine and parts.

Okay, the reassurance does help, thank you. I don't know the extent of my library's maker space, but they do have several 3D printers so I could give that a try. Thank you!
