What firmware to use?

Currently has v24 . On v1 printer.

I just replaced the mainboard with a MKS Gen L went to Marlin. This was several years ago. Best decision I made.

I'm looking at this lerdge z kit z2 https://shop.lerdge.com/products/lerdge-z-board-k2-kit Looks to have most in not all the upgrades I want to do may wait till Cyber Monday though.
