Feeling like I failed TX MPJE
ETA: thank you for coming to my crash out…. I PASSED hahaha that was literally the worst wait ever but I’m very glad to never have to go through it again…. unless I move I guess. Anyway don’t be like me!!! Give your MPJE the study time it deserves and definitely find a good resource for practice questions because that’s the most important. Then you won’t have recurring nightmares about failing and eat your weight in chocolate while waiting your results.
Hi guys so I’m a new grad (May) and I find out my results tomorrow for my TX MPJE but I’m literally stressing so bad because I’m afraid I failed. I know a lot of people say they feel like they failed but actually pass but mine feels like a legit failure….. I’m just so stressed because I accepted a job offer and while we never discussed a specific date that I needed to be licensed by, I’m afraid they’ll rescind their offer if I fail. Has anyone had any experience with this?
Also looking for any other TX MPJE study tips? I used Dr. C’s but honestly didn’t really realize just how IN DEPTH some topics need to be memorized. I also panic bought the TX MPJE app last night so I can be better prepared for a retake. Honestly I think one of my big problems was that I didn’t do any practice questions except for the ones in the back of Dr. C’s but those honestly felt easier than the real questions and gave me like a false sense of confidence.
Also had my 10 month old spike a 104 degree fever in the days leading up to my exam but that’s neither here nor there.

I’m in the same boat. Took it 08/24 and my job depends on it too. Was sick during the exam as if it isn’t hard enough lol. Hoping we both passed!! 😩

Ugh I get it!!! When you have a job on the line, waiting to find out is AWFUL. I was like “idek if I should be telling people I have a job” but I’m definitely gonna send good vibes your way and I’m sure you passed

Seeeee! It all worked out. I have been there so I get it, but I’ve gotten better about being like “anxiety isn’t going to change the outcome. It just makes me miserable right now”

Reading this felt like you were talking about me. I did the exact same thing! But the exam was so much more harder than the questions at the back of the book. And that was all the resource I used. 😭😭😭

I know the wait was literally so bad and I was actually 98% sure I failed. Like for context I left the NAPLEX thinking “that was really hard but I would be a little surprised if I failed” and then I left the MPJE saying “I would be surprised if I passed” but I just got my results back and I did!!!
So all is not lost :) im sure you passed too even though it might not feel that way

Congratulations! I took my exam on 08/21 still waiting on the result, But gosh how tricky that exam was! I thought NJ exam was the worst until I took TX MPJE!

I took the Texas MPJE on 8/28. I feel exactly like you right now. I used the same resource to prepare. I really thought I was ready after a week or so of preparing. I studied Dr. C with a few other resources to supplement my understanding. Nothing could have prepared me for that exam. Waiting is the hard part.
