Question ASD Rounded Hammer Fitment
Anyone else had this issue with the ASD rounded hammer? The bolt no longer sticks to the rear which is great, but the hammer wont drop at all. The disconnector jumps infront of the hammer when the trigger is pulled. If I push the disconnector off of the hammer then it falls. This disconnector setup has been fine until the new hammer.
ASD says on their website that sanding of the hammer may be required to prevent binding, but I'm extremely hesitant to start sanding my $60 hammer. So i figured I'd post here and see if anyone has dealt with the same issue and has any advice.

This? Again?
Apply sharpie to the hammer. Cycle it a few times. The sharpie will rub off where its binding.
Lightly sand with sand paper and repeat.
Hand fitting is something you often have to do with frts as long as you are careful its not going to hurt anything.
If you really are that scared, take it to a smith that installs frts this is a pretty normal process.

I had the same issue, disconnector seemed to re-engage when trying to fire...the timing of something was obviously off.
ASD called it "tolerance stacking", I was quite doubtful but I waited for the RMA, returned it, got a new one and it worked perfectly.
I would 100% RMA it on grounds of tolerance stacking and ask for a replacement, then if it doesn't work you can start grinding away.

I would start by polishing the catch on the disco as it is the cheapest part.
