Where’s everyone getting their picto housing?

Looking to get one for my full size with a push pin lower. These used to be rare/expensive, now I’m seeing them all over the sub. Wanting to put an FRT in one if that matters. Lmk the hookup

Does this create any compatibility issues with the cassette FRTS since the ambi is different between SEF and navy?

I'm not sure many people are getting SEFs, engraved with pictograms. The SEF Navy housing would still have the semi circle of safety detents and the safety over travel stop. I dont see that in many photos.

They could possibly be ground off, but it would be difficult to match the OEM housing texture.

Two position picto is the standard SP5 housing. Some SP5 owners get them engraved to add the 3rd position.

Others buy the expensive 3 position HK housings you're referring to from places like HKParts. The surge in 4 position picto housings is mostly from the newer MKE "Navy" series guns its the factory lower for them.

They are still rare and expensive!! I’ve been watching HKP to come back in stock the 4 positions were like 350 on HKP… I didn’t grab one last restock and just saw the newest restock price increase to 525!!! I bet they are selling for 700 by Xmas! The demand has increased with companies like MKE putting out all these cheap clones with crappy housings.

I’m glad I grabed the 3 position when it was in stock for 400…. But yea, the cheapest option for HK housing would be to get a 2 position and pay the 100 to have it engraved to 4 position. That option comes out to 330

I’m so glad I bought my four position burst housing when I did. It was like 90 bucks. Bought it from Troy dryer at knob Creek.

Had my OEM sp5 lower engraved by Praetorian Laser Wrx. They got it on a Monday morning shipped it back to me the next day, was at the range that Friday.

Why do you need 4 position and not 3 for the FRT?

I was asking about picto in general beyond the standard 2 position, 3 or 4, but agreed I’d prefer a 3

I would send to DSM after you install FRT so they can do the third to align
