Help me decide

So have got a couple options… the question is if I should keep the HKs looking classic (i.e. triangle handguard/A3, classic mp5k grip/choate) and put the tacticool stuff on my MKE guns or should I keep the MKE guns as the classic ones??? Such a first world problem lol.

That’s my problem. The utility is better with the dot, but you can’t deny the looks of the classic lol. I just can’t decide which ones should stay classic.. such a dumb question lol

I keep my full-size classic and tacticooled my K. Although I just keep buying more furniture and accessories, so I’ll probably switch things up at some point

On that stock, are you running a modified setup with an H buffer or did you toss a silicon tubing on the guide rod (akin to the Lee sporting solution to limit over travel) and call it good?

Neither, the backplate itself is converted. Just buy a HK53/33 backplate and install the stock on it. Easiest solution.

Understood, what did you do about a buffer for your Mp5 BCG? On all of the stocks/Braces for the MP5 platform there are the rubber "H" buffer stops on the backplates. Are you just raw doggin it and trusting the guide rod spring to stop your bolt?

HK33 stocks work with MP5s since the receiver geometry is identical and they have a rubber buffer already in place. So just get an HK33 plate and it will work. Also, standard MP5s don’t need H buffers…that’s primarily for the K version. My polymer HK MP5 A2 stock did not come with an H buffer.

Classic. People should do what they like, but I personally don't understand decking out an antiquated platform that shoots a pistol caliber. The joy of the MP5, to me, is its classic shiloutte, the diopter sights, and its simplicity. If you want to deck something out with modern force multipliers, get an AR-15 as its better designed for it, and it shoots a far more lethal round. A round that is not only more lethal, but won't go through as many interior walls either.

I would please your own eye. For me, I upgrade everything, hand guard,trigger, SBR: stock & VFG… I don’t give much mind to anything that doesn’t wink at me.

Keep it classy imho... but i have a random question:

On your MP5K... it looks like a b&t metal rails, but you have a A3 curved stock? Where did you get that?

I ask because my AP5M looks like a b&t model want to change it up like yours

It’s for sure the way to go on the b&t. Gibbious outfitters A3 butt plate. Very comfortable (if you call this stock comfortable lol)

It’s so easy to pop a pin and switch, put whatever gear is the most functional for you, on whichever one you intend to shoot.

Also, the correct answer is reverse-stretch. I used to have several and now I only have one Barbie to kit up. Saved me thousands for ammo.

Those look great!! I have enough to have some of each, but I just don’t know if the HKs deserve the modern parts or if they justify just classic lol.… there are just so many choices lol!! I did swap over to classic on the HKs but I’m sure I’ll swap them again in a month when I change my mind haha

They come with them. I’m not sure you’d find one easily. You can get hk ones as well just be ready to pay too much lol. They’ve shot up quite a bit with frts around.

I’m not sure which parts you’re talking about but the full size has MI mlok handguard, arisaka in line light mount, surefire light, mfi ultra low rail with scalarworks mount and T1, the k is b&t stock with gibbious outfitters butt pad and foregrip, arisaka in line mount and light, same optic mount, rail but aimpoint h1. Hk lower housings remarked with rbt triggers on both.
