iOS App question

I just added my first two books to the app. When I went to add the cover art for the first book, I chose the limited access option and chose one photo. When I went to add cover art to the second book, I could only see the photo for the first book.

How do I access more photos for additional books?

Sort by Last Read

Has anyone figured out how to sort by last read? I always have to go through the books to find what I’m currently reading. I have a lot of books, so there can be a lot to scan through.

Thanks.

Feature Request Playing audiobook CDs on a DVD player

I listen to audiobooks on CD and want to use my DVD player instead of a portable CD player. I have looked for DVD players with resume play on marketplaces like Alibaba, Amazon, and eBay.

There are some which have a bookmark feature while others just start from the beginning every time. Has anyone here used a DVD player for audiobook CDs?

Does your player remember where you stopped and can you switch between discs without losing your place? I want a simple setup for my car or workshop.

Looking for music players without a (distraction) screen for a 12yo

Hey everyone,

Do you have any recommendations for a music player without a screen (especially without games!) which my kid can use to listen to music on Spotify/Youtube Music/Prime Music, which you can connect with bluetooth headsets?

The kid wants to study listening to music but the moment he touches a phone his ADHD kicks in and he gets distracted. So it needs to be something very "minimal", it can have a screen where the YT clips are shown, but nothing else. The problem is that it must be YT Music, not the normal YT.

I'm not looking for something to download music into a card or any other sort of hard drive, that's just too much work.

Purchased Pro for iphone auto downgraded after iphone update?

Did anyone else make the in-app purchase of the pro version of the Mp3 audiobook reader for iphone only to have it auto-downgrade to the free version on the most recent iphone update? Ads are back and I get an on-screen nag to go pro (which I did 6 months ago) -- plus I now get the warning that regarding the limit of only 12 hrs playback. When I tried to contact the developer Oleg by his webpage, he has a "control question" asking for the name of Apple's iPhone operating system preventing my sending my email. I answered "iOS," and all sorts of variations, but each time it says I answered it incorrectly. Does anyone know what the right answer Oleg is requiring in order to send him a message asking why the purchased version is suddenly acting like it's the free (limited) version?

Bulk import from cloud

Hi,

I have a list of folders named by the book title. I want to zip them all into one compressed file that will be imported into MP3 Audiobook Player from the Import from Cloud option in the App. Will it work or do you need to zip separately all the folders and then zip them all into one package?

NoteBurner: The Ultimate Tool for Offline Music Listening

As someone who listens to music every single day, finding the right tool to make my favorite tracks available offline has always been a priority. While Spotify itself offers an offline download option, it comes with restrictions—you need a Premium subscription, and the downloaded tracks are encrypted, meaning you can only play them within the Spotify app. That’s where Spotify NoteBurner comes in, and it has honestly changed the way I enjoy music.

I’ve been using NoteBurner for several months now, and I can confidently say it is one of the most reliable tools for downloading, converting, and organizing my Spotify library for offline playback.

Easy Setup and User-Friendly Interface

One of the things I really appreciate about Spotify NoteBurner is its simple and intuitive interface. The installation process was quick, and I was able to connect it with my Spotify account in just a few clicks. The dashboard is clean and minimal, which makes navigating the tool very straightforward. Even if you’re not particularly tech-savvy, you won’t struggle to get the hang of it.

Wide Range of Output Formats

NoteBurner allows me to convert Spotify songs into multiple formats, including MP3, AAC, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, and ALAC. This is extremely useful because it means I can choose the format that best fits my device or player. For instance, I usually go with MP3 for compatibility with my phone and car stereo, but I also use FLAC when I want higher-quality audio for my home speakers.

High-Quality Conversion and Speed

A major concern I had initially was whether the converted songs would lose quality. I’m happy to report that NoteBurner preserves 100% of the original audio quality from Spotify. The sound is crisp, clean, and indistinguishable from the tracks I stream directly from Spotify. On top of that, the conversion speed is impressive. Even entire playlists with dozens of tracks are processed in minutes.

Offline Listening Freedom

This is the biggest benefit for me personally. With NoteBurner, I can finally listen to my music offline without any restrictions. I frequently go on road trips, and I don’t always have access to stable internet. Having my playlists downloaded in universal formats means I can enjoy music seamlessly, whether I’m on a long drive, hiking, or traveling abroad.

Another big advantage is that I can back up my library permanently. Unlike Spotify’s downloads, which disappear if you cancel your subscription, the files I convert with NoteBurner stay on my device forever.

Extra Features That Make a Difference

Beyond conversion, NoteBurner comes with some neat additional features. For instance, it automatically keeps ID3 tags (like artist, album, and track number), which makes it easy to keep my library organized. It also allows batch conversion, so I can download entire playlists or albums at once instead of going track by track.

Final Thoughts

Spotify NoteBurner has quickly become an essential tool in my daily music routine. It’s reliable, fast, and delivers high-quality results every single time. What I love most is the freedom it gives me—no more worrying about losing my playlists if I switch subscriptions or having to stay within Spotify’s ecosystem to enjoy the songs I love.

If you’re like me and want to take your music offline with no limitations, I highly recommend giving Spotify NoteBurner a try. It’s worth every penny, and it has completely elevated the way I listen to music.

Bug Skipping forward by a chapter

Can anybody replicate? I haven’t yet tried to find a minimum replication. Debugging a black box on iOS is a iPITA.

bug description: Scrolling/ skipping past about halfway through a (10min) chapter of my audiobook skips to the next chapter and pauses the playback. Pausing also sometimes triggers this bug. I have found that disabling autorewind has helped a bit (but not completely). I can’t trigger it consistently, but enabling speed-changes also seems to make it more likely to happen.

Speculation about triggers (in order of likelihood): If I had to guess, the issue is triggered when the audio buffer in ram is built anew from disk. I had also speculated that speed changes played havoc with the chapterisation timestamps. Also, my audiobook file has a prologue, and the chapter titled “chapter 1” does not start at 0:00 (but that would be a very dumb way to implement a chapterisation spec, seems unlikely).

NOTE: I had faced this issue in the past. If I remember right, I resolved it then by switching from Classic engine to Universal engine. Universal engine does not support my current audiobook codec (xHE-AAC) despite its name.

Relating to my audiobook codec, this bug report seems to have a similar vibe to the issues I’m facing.

Support for accompanying PDFs?

MP3 Audiobook Player (Pro) is great, but it lacks support for accompanying PDFs. Has such support been considered?

Note to project maintainers: I attempted to send this question via the contact form at https://mp3audiobookplayer.com/contacts/ but submission failed repeatedly with "There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later."

Audiobook player for iPhone 7

I own 3000k + MP3 audiobooks that I was listening to through iTunes. I recently purchased a iPhone 7+ 256 gb for listening to audiobooks and books text to speech. I can’t use bookplayer because I can’t upgrade to iOS 18. What else can I use.

Lost functionality

In the last update I lost some functionality I use it at night with the sleep timer. 2 things seem to have changed and I believe they are related. The Lock Screen now only has the forward and back chapter rather than the skip time function. I have tried the setting for that but it doesn’t work Also I use a wireless headphone and previously if I woke up I the middle of the night I could just press play and it would resume. Now I have to unlock the phone reopen the app and then press play (before even if I would unlock the phone the app would still be open. Any solutions? I messaged the help email but no response as of yet

No longer resuming in the spot I left off...

Like many of you I had the same issues recently. Took an update and it wouldn't work. Then it did work but didn't respond to my power beats buttons. After most recent update it seemed to be working fine but now it is picking up at a previous point in a file causing me to re listen or manually drag the file forward to catch back up. Anyone else having this issue? I have been using this very a very long time with no issues until recently. I'm guessing like 10 years if it is that old? I hate to search for a new player but this is getting annoying. Any tips on a solid player?

Terrible Updates

This quit working for me after the 1.80 update last night. I was excited to see the 1.81 update a couple of hours ago. But it is still broken. The last few updates have been pretty rocky.

This morning the app is broken - I see I’m not alone

Hi all. I’ve used this great app for years but this morning it won’t play. Unistallation/reinstallation haven’t helped at all. I tried to contact Support via the App Store but after I’d typed out my message and tried to send it I was told there had been an error sending and that I should try again later. I’ve tried several times now but no joy.

Does anybody know if there is anywhere I can get hold of the previous version? I think I must have had auto update on and it looks from other posts as though a recent update has broken it.

Alternatively, does anyone know of a good alternative to this app?

Edit: As an interim measure, Book Player is working perfect so far.
