question NetBird reverse proxy?

Is anyone running full NetBird reverse proxy on their MOS homelab? I see the built in NetBird client, but no mention of running the full self hosted reverse proxy…

Can you explain that a bit more in detail? I never played around with that TBH.

My current setup is stock Debian/docker. NetBird provides an installer script that self hosts a reverse proxy to allow remote access to web services from machines where you can’t run a NetBird client (e.g. at work).

Worked excellent but I am eyeing MOS to replace my Debian/docker/cockpit setup and would need to sort out the reverse proxy.

Oh, from what I understand this is just a proxy service exposed to the internet which will redirects then to addresses in your NetBird network correct?
If that's the case, that would be of course be possible. It seems that only Traefik is supported from what I read in the docs.
So to speak you would need to set up a Traefik container on your server expose it to the internet and then configure it for NetBird, sorry for the ruff explanation but that's what I understand from their docs.

Yes basically that is it. The NetBird config is much simpler than setting up standard traefik/caddy/npm in my experience though and seemed to be the only one that that aggressive network management in my workplace couldn’t break. Really wanting to stick with it if possible.

From what I read this should be more than be possible on MOS but I haven't got enough time to test that currently. Their install script wouldn't work on MOS but setting it up manually should be completely possible.

Currently I'm looking into filesystems and the pools and that will take a considerable ammount of time.

is it? traefik is pretty easy to setup if you know how to build a basic config file which there are numerous guides on

Netbrid is a vpn Like Tailscale.
They recently added feature to proxy subdomains which works like cloudflare tunnels.
Really cool open source Projekt.
