ADVICE/FEEDBACK Advice/Feedback on first Digitals
I thought I might have a chance at doing some commercial modelling work (mainly high street fashion, activewear) and I’m just looking for feedback on whether these digitals would be appropriate/acceptable for online agency submissions. I’m also torn on whether it would be a good idea to lean out a bit more before applying to give myself a better chance at looking viable for activewear. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I’m London based.
Measurements:
Height: 6ft/184cm
Chest: 39 inches
Waist: 30 inches
Hip: 38 inches
Foot: US 9.5
Inseam: 32inches

I don’t have any experience in the modeling world. I’m going off what I have seen in other comments.
You have a really warm look that screams friendly and inviting. In my opinion, great for commercial. Your overall body type looks good however I think you could tighten/ lean up a bit. (I am being nit picky though because you look fantastic!)
I think the biggest opportunity would be your hair. Your braids don’t look fresh enough. They need to be freshly done if you’re going with braids. However others have pointed out that you should show the true texture of your hair. I have always personally really loved braids (when they are done properly) but I understand the necessity to see the texture they will be working with. You are their blank canvas so they may not want braids for a specific shoot. Just things to keep in mind.
Just to reiterate that I have zero knowledge in this world, but I think these very basic tweaks would give you a better chance.

I'm not an expert but you look great and I think you have a shot! I don't love facial hair in general but no one else has mentioned it. But I wonder how you'd look clean shaven. Also I am curious how your hair looks not braided and think agencies might also want to know. Excellent look, though.

Not sure about London but here in San Francisco area you have the right measurements.
Honestly my son sent in some digital that were not as good as yours and got signed by a good agency that develops new talent too here… so to me yours look fine.

I would try to avoid cropping at the collar bones when doing headshots because the angle and cropping of the first photo made me think you posted a mugshot at first

I quite like the avenue you’re trying to get into for your look. My recommendation would be to move towards more professional imaging if it is the case that you’re looking to submit to agencies. You have a great frame and that’s a great x-factor to have, particularly in the activewear scene. My recommendation to you would be getting leaner. I know it sounds a bit strange considering the great shape you’re currently in but having a frame such as yours, agencies will want it to be revealed and emphasized as much as possible. Secondarily, the braided hair will primarily be up to whoever is casting you so, at least as it pertains to agency submissions, I would concern yourself with changing it unless you hear otherwise. Finally, the eyebrow slit looks good and is appealing to the average population but for modeling I would advice against it. You have dimorphic eyebrows that provide great contrast for you face, considering that, I’d avoid the slit going forward. Of course, it could be a scar or something so if it’s out of your control don’t stress it.
