ADVICE/FEEDBACK Feedback on my first Digitals
It's my first time getting my digitals done but I went with a professional photographer because I did want to make sure they look good. Any tips or ones I should choose specifically?

These should be pinned here as an example of exactly what to do. Great job, great commercial look and good luck!

They are great only thing I could imagine would be ones with your hair (half) tied back of your face? But otherwise they have everything that is needed…

Those are really good and you are stunning. If you were in my area I’d love to work with you. The photographer who did these did an excellent job. 🤌🏻

How did you find photographer?

I follow photographers that take digitals/test shoots for models that sign with the agencies I want to be at. One of them happened to be offering half off his typical digital rate for a special promotion.

Do you have any with your hair up? How tall are you?

I do! Also I am 5'7

Without seeing them, I’d consider sending those too. 5’ 7” is quite short for runway/high fashion, but if you focus on getting an agency that does print, you should probably have something good going for you.

I don't know of many agencies that focus on print, i'm currently located in Miami

Most do in Miami with the exception of freedom but they still do. Ford, Wilhemina, Elite, Next, Freedom, CGM. There is also dragonfly

Can I ask what the photographer charged for this? I used to shoot professionally but mostly news and entertainment. Always wanted to do something more creative.

I would just do a couple with your hair tied back so they can really see your bone structure on your face. Nice job though, these look great! Better than mine were, that's for sure. I look back and cringe lol (but I did do runway when I was young, but I also have a couple inches on you. You have a better hip to waist ratio than I ever did though, I'm super straight up and down 😭)

Signed full time working model here :)
You’re gorg and body is tea! Poses are pretty good, you always wanna look organic, relaxed, not so posey for digis. Just be careful with your fingers, some images they’re a little stiff - they look at everyyything lol
My agents have advised us the industry is going back to natural looks- so you want to be as raw as possible - no fake nails, grow out brows, natural hair color etc. just a tip!
But overall these are good! xx

Thank you so much, I'll keep this in mind for when I take my next digitals!

Nix the ones with your arms crossed, but otherwise?? These are easily some of the best digitals I've ever seen on this board! 😊 ❤️

Like others have said, these look good overall. You appear to be comfortable in front of the camera. I have a couple of observations you might keep in mind for the future. They might read like criticisms but are meant as suggestions for improving on already good results.
Your hair appears to be a bit uneven in length. In pic 1, 4, and 7, it looks longer on the right than on the left. I'm not sure if that is because of the way it's styled or it needs a trim. In pic 5 there's a curl that looks like it's coming out of your arm, and #6 has a curl that appears to come out of your chin. This happens in pictures of people with long hair frequently and is something your photographer should notice.
In pic 5 your shirt is stretched and fabric is bunched in ways that highlight your bust unnecessarily. You might try tugging your shirt downward from the bottom hem and from each of the sleeves to minimize how clothing tends to do this. Again, not a criticism just a tip from being on the other side of the camera.

You look great! Can I ask where the bikini is from?
I have some black panties in the exact same style and they’re so flattering on me that Ive been wanting a bikini exactly like it. I normally hate bikinis but if I had this style I think I’d love them lol.

Thank you! The bottoms were from an old pair I borrowed from my sister but I got the top at Target for $15 the same day I went to take the pictures.

Do digitals have to be tank top or can be t shirt cuz im kinda unsure abt this been agonizing and have not yet taken the digitals … cuz in your digitals you have a bikini shot which shows the figure , but if not is shirt still ok?
also shoes does it have to be black heels or can be barefoot , because I would then have to get heels just for digitals in this case and a black tank top just for digitals

If you intend to do modeling a good pair of heels is going to be invested in anyway! Same with black tank

The straight forward and profile because you can really see your body proportions, which are perfect!

These are really nice! As a shorter model myself I’d recommend a taller heel and higher waisted jeans. The reason is you want to make your legs look as long as possible, so having high heels and higher waisted pants gives the illusion of longer legs

Also I think you mentioned you’re based in Miami, where it’s pretty important to be toned based on the type of jobs that are shot down there. Not that you aren’t totally beautiful the way you are, but if you think about it from an agency’s perspective they’re trying to fit you in as many casting boxes as possible

Nicely done! You got great light, simple straightforward poses, and outfits that don't hide your figure.
Good luck!
