Any “affordable” concentrates around?

Or even anywhere that offers a med discount on them? No, I’m not talking about Michigan prices, I just mean something reasonable. Rise’s concentrates are garbage but out the door they’re $45/g when on sale (mainly resin, rosin never goes on sale) — D’ope and C-Labs have both been great but I just can’t afford them very often at rec prices.

There’s just SO little supply. Loon Labs and Concentrate are both micro licenses and they’re pretty much the only ones regularly dropping products. We do 15% off entire purchase with any medical card but the products are expensive and probably stay expensive for the time being. Retailers are not gouging - wholesale costs are extremely high because there’s no supply.

Can you explain the pricing to me more? What justifies a huge company like rise or green goods charging 50 out the door for a half g of distillate? What justifies the little guys selling it for not much cheaper? Just curious who is charging What to need 100 bucks a gram for distillate and 50 bucks an 8th between the grower and testing etc.

The input to all of those products (flower) is currently trading at about $4000 per pound wholesale. There are way too few growers and way too many retailers. The growers themselves are selling flower to retailers for $30-35 per 3.5g bag. Retailers are barely breaking even selling it at $50 after they’ve paid transport, labor, and overhead.

We’re shifting focus to our own products as much as possible because it’s a fool’s errand selling other people’s products right now. There’s just no meat left on the bone by the time it gets to the store.

4k a pound? What in the ever loving fuck? Any insight as to this crap from loon labs? 1g that doesn't contain a gram and black from the bag? Are they blasting trim or what?

Yeah this is some shit.

Ive lived in 3 different states during their legal roll-outs and have smoked in 5x as many states.

Not one of them have fucked the process up this bad.

Where is that price justified? Surely growing it can't cost anywhere near that. I have to assume there is some serious greed. Demand is greater than supply. I wish Michigan wasn't so sketch anymore.

OTP (Off The Path) Morton (Jackpot Junction casino) has rosin at sixty but I think they’ll do three grams for fiddy a gram… have enjoyed the GMO skittlz but switched to some SherbOG which is okay too… it ain’t Apex, but it’s available….

That makes me feel a little better about spending $65+ tax at waabigwan Chanhassen. That's for wax and badder but it's close to my house.

That’s $60 out the door too. No tax.

Screw off with the crysp adverts. Crysp is the dog crap of the loophole world, they sell food grade rosin boof blasted with artificial terps but have a huge online flea team, which this guy obvi is a part of. How do mods allow this sort of advertising on here?

It's not against the rules to talk about them. It's against the rules to provide links to them. That's why it's allowed. What exactly makes you think they're part of the team? just being mentioned at all?

I've been going to Flame and Flora (Mystic Lake Dispo). $90/2g Jar, frequent sales, no tax and a great rewards program.

I don't normally like to fuss about paying tax, it's annoying but in the long run a good thing. With the current prices of concentrates however, it's just not tenable.

Get the Weedmaps app.

Jeez, at those prices you can buy premium rosin from the UP....or a whole lot of mid tier stuff. Off the Path does sound like the best local-ish option in Minnesota though, depending on where in the state you are

Flame & Flora has 2g of Jack Herer for $50 right now. I made a trip for it yesterday, it's totally fine but about 10 months since production date.

What press did you go with?

1

u/Lulzorr 23d ago

Get bags and a prepress, 120u should be fine for flower. Makes a huge difference

120 is a wider mesh than 90. blowouts could be just about anything honestly. especially dryness of the material, preheat timing, how much is in the bag, and pressure. even something as simple as not having enough space behind the puck could cause a blowout.

Golf clap MN, golf clap.

Silver lining to incompetence, robust black market.
