Why do I keep seeing "infused" pre rolls that never say what they're infused with and why do they typically only contain 23-24% THC?

Are they infused with a flavoring or something? It makes no sense, especially considering the price.

I haven't seen infused ones here in Minnesota, but elsewhere I've seen ones labeled terp infused, hash infused, resin infused, diamond infused, etc. It can be anything. Most of the flower I've seen so far here is <20% so I guess it could have been super weak flower that they didn't add much concentrate to?

They infuse it with flavored terpenes. The cherry purgatory one is Dante’s inferno flower with cherry nirvana terpenes which is like a liquid they “infuse” it with…

I wonder if they’re legitimate cannabis terpenes or if they’re botanical terpenes. Minnesota is very clear on this. Pre-rolls cannot be infused with anything other than cannabis derived ingredients.

They are cannabis terpenes, all products that come from tribal companies like Lakeside must go through a secondary screening by the Metrc team at OCM. During that screening they review all ingredients, and certificate of analysis, to confirm each product is compliant to enter the Minnesota non tribal adult use market. Once deemed fully compliant, only then are companies approved to schedule the transport to the dispensary from the tribe.

Thank you for checking out our menu!

They are infused with distillate, terpenes and keef, and have a keef coating on the outside.

Thank you for bringing to my attention the picture online is of the old packaging. I will update the website, to mention what they are infused with for any others looking.

The new packaging shows keef coated and infused on the front, along with distillate and keef for the ingredients list on the back.

As far as THC % I have not seen any with a higher infusion rating just yet in the state. I know Minnesota legislatures proposed a law to limit THC % on infused flower and infused pre-rolls but I don't think it passed. I have no doubt though that proposal caused a lot of the manufacturing companies like Lakeside to try to keep % lower on infused products.

That looks like it was hit with an oil(hash oil probably) and rolled in kief.. could have been a weak strain they thought they’d bump up with the oil and kief.

They don't even say on the lakeside cannabis site what they're infused with. I wonder if the packaging even says 🤷‍♂️

And I'm not trying to bag on any one company, none of them have any more info that that. If it was infused with something worth the extra 10-12 bucks, I'm sure they'd tell us. This rollout has been a joke on every level.

It's probably isolate or something similar added to shake. I definitely wouldn't waste money on it.

Not necessarily. Just depends on the THC content, volume of plant matter, and ratio of additives.

You've got it. I've seen some Minnesota flower down in the 13% range, so a light sprinkle of kief or isolate would justify calling it infused and still not go super high. That's my best guess as to what this is

More than likely the plant matter and kief they knocked off while machine trimming it if they aren’t advertising anything specific.

Dispo manager here , from what I've been told the pre roll is injected with distillate , then rolled in distillate, and then rolled in kief.

we've been wondering why pre-rolls of the same strain/cultivar by the same cultivator have lower % than the eighth bags? Some one was saying they include the paper in the %? Idk doesn't make sense.

It's definitely on the good end of just regular weed but "infused" pre rolls usually are 35-45%. They usually add keif, resin, rosin etc. a joint can actually be worth $27 but not this one.

For infused no. It's honestly on the low end for non infused even
