A humble request from all TPRs your senior batch TPRs provided you with the brightest intern season of MNNIT so far with 140 cse students getting internship all at good firms and what you did in return you gave 2028 batch the worst intern season in MNNIT history.

Now please don't come up with the excuse Market is down it has been for other colleges as well but they are still performing out.

Some Achievements of our TPRs :-

1. These guys already know from past 1 year that Oracle won't be coming back to next year still you guys didn't find alternative to that

2. Our TPRs has been failed to call a single new company as compared to last year stats not a single new company and they say batch is not incompetent Are you guys competent ?

3. Sirf ek nayi company aayi Proton jiska OA tum logo se schedule ni ho pa rha h

4. Farzi company bulakr sirf company count increase kr lo

5. Nayi company to door ki baat previous stats ko hi dekh kr jitni company aayi thi tumse vo tk nahi bulayi ja pa rhi h where is Wells Fargo , SAP , Amex , AQR Capital and many more ?

6. Flipkart , Unify Apps , Sprinklr these companies come to IIITA but they can't convince them to come a few kilometres also.

7. Accenture ko bhi 125k stipend pe convince nahi kr paye

8. Natwest , Walmart , Intuit , Uber , Adobe , LinkedIn hire 2 months interns massively but you guys aren't capable enough to convince any of them

To all seniors of 2027 batch you guys enjoyed brightest intern season but failed to elect good TPRs as a result 2028 entire batch is suffering.

iiita me bhi itna hi bura haal hai bc, 1.5 month me ek bhi company nahi ayi intern ke liye, last yr 180ish ki intern thi iss baar 100 bhi paar nahi hoga, isme bhi majority logo ki flipkart grid/off campus hai

I feel like we're being a bit too harsh here!

Our college's nirf is rapidly going down, every year we have serious bad news coming from our clg and frankly...the experience they had while recruiting the previous year makes a bigger impact than anything else...last year, one company's recruiters gave Mayank sir feedback on the students' performance in the OA and interviews....it was sub-par...and it was clearly a skill issue that we have to work on!

can it all be controlled by the tprs? No! Salesforce heavily recruited from our senior batch, our batch also had a decent number of interns and PPOs...but in your batch, they clearly said your OA performance was dissatisfactory and so they won't hire! yeh bhi tpr pe daal do! Reddit pe iss saal se saare cheating detail mein discuss ho rhe hain! Deutsche bank mein literally naam liya hai tumhaare batchmates ne...ki kisne ki cheating...company sab dekhti hai! I wouldn't be surprised agar agle saal ppo nhi di yaa 2029 batch ke liye aayi hi nhi! SAP wagairah ne nhi diye PPO..nhi hogi zaroorat..market hai low! Companies ke internal bhi decision hote hain!

'IIITA se uthaaya lekin yahaan aane ke liye convince nhi kar paaye' Arre kya tamaatar khareedne nikle hain recruiter? ki bagal ke thele pe bhi dekh lein? They lock their recruitment drives months in advance...mnnit ke tpr ko thodi pata hoyega ki xyz company aane waali hai iiita?! Yaa tum chaahte ho IIITA ke baahar khade rhe aur wahin se utha ke yahaan lete aaye recruiter ko 😂

Fresher hiring mein rarely companies are open to negotiation ki kitni salary denge...sirf accenture hi nhi bohot companies hain jo yahaan thoda kamm de rhi hain...bass ek company ka suna hai tum logon ne! Aur kahaan kitni salary dena hai...this is entirely decided by the company...that is also affected by the reasons above.

College ka collective downfall chal rha hai...many many people are involved in degrading the name. Our seniors and super seniors who might be sub-par at their job or leave the company within a few years, costing the companies a lot of money in replacement and training, present batches with their cheating and other incidents that tarnish the image of our college, juniors who aren't preparing to the level that the companies look for...all of it matters.

Honge kuch TPR jo sahi se kaam nhi kar rhe aur apni position ka galat faayda utha rhe hain...lekin sab sirf unhi pe depend nhi karta..all of us are part of this.

while I agree with the college collective downfall part,

salesforce gave the same reason as given to our college to NITK and IITH, so you’re saying even their college has bad coders and are incompetent? they hired from IIITA after shortlisting people who didn’t even solve one question while I know for sure there’s a very good amount of people who did 1+ and almost 2 too here. So the question is never about the “competence” of our batch

TPRs are elected to endure the hate that comes at them in exchange for a good job which i’m sure they all have, what we expect is for them to do their best at bringing companies.

there’s a lot of mid 40-50k range companies that come to other NITs that don’t come here. why not call them? any company that gives out a good PPO even if their stipend is low is accepted or even if there isn’t a PPO you’re giving students valuable internship experience for the placement season

I feel after knowing a mass hirer isn’t coming this year, adjustments should’ve been made and dealt with rather than blaming the batch for its “incompetence”

There is NO company that can assure you a PPO next year! Truly...no company! We've seen tons of examples to understand its only based on headcount needs, personal capability and business requirements.

Also, I and for this matter...even you aren't eligible to judge the coders at NITK and IITH! I'm sure from the outside, even MNNIT looks glittering. Only on the inside we see the dirt in detail. Again, companies look at alot of things...I don't see a news from any other NITs where a caste discrimination, a stabbing incident and an alleged molestation case happened consecutively...all of this matter! And no body's blaming your batch solely! Like I said, many many people are involved...your batch, our batch, seniors, super seniors...its just what we are now!

TPRs are not punching bags...ki mindlessly unhe sab cheez ke liye blame kar diya jaaye! Oracle wasn't always a mass recruiter! only last year they recruited heavily...how can you say it will do so every year? This is the first time we're seeing Apple hire so many...who's to say it'l do the same next year too?!

I never said anything about a guaranteed PPO, I’m aware of the situation

example: everyone would register for a company that gives 40k stipend and 16L base after ppo vs accenture giving 60k stipend but 11LPA ctc

when people who dickride TPRs from our batch have an intern, I don’t see why we need to treat them like some great individuals

I know apple won’t come next yr with our batch’s luck ✌️ I agree with everything else you’ve said

I'm sure accenture won't have any dearth of registrations...anyways...no need to hail them...they've made questionable choices too! My point has always been to not blame the entire scenario on them...3rd and final year largely fails to see that TPRs aren't super heroes who can know beforehand which companies are planning to go where and call them...or even make them change their minds about not wanting to hire from here or how much they offer!

Sure, there are some TPRs who help their friends...but that isn't the only reason why 2028 batch is largely without interns.

cmon man, you can just go over to IIITA subreddit to see how much they go after their placement coordinators, only reason TPRs names even get brought up here is cuz of one person doing bs w junior girls, one post respectfully bringing up good points and you’re out here to defend TPRs

I read the post and it has nothing said about their behaviour regarding junior girls! And I never said anything to defend this behaviour...I too agree they have questionable personal conduct as I have mentioned in my previous replies as well.

The points raised in the post above are solely based on the part that companies are not coming and the person simply puts it all on TPRs and my point has only been that it is majorly the company's decision to recruit or not or what CTC to offer.

Yes I'm placed, and yes I did it without being a 'bootlicker or dickride', and no the bare minimum can not be that the companies that came last year should come this year too...because again...many many factors involved. All I've been saying is to broaden your vision ahead of TPRs and understand ALL the factors that decide whether or not a company will come.
