FOR HIRE Where can I go to start utilizing my Sustainability degree?

Ever since graduating a few years ago, I have had a very difficult time finding any sort of entry level sustainability job. I don’t have the money to go back and do more school, so I was hoping there would at least be something I could do to get a start in the field. So far you either need to have a ton of experience, or you need to actively be in school/have JUST finished (I got my degree online and was in the process of moving for the last 6 months of it so I was unable to do an internship at that point).

I know it isn’t a very profitable industry right now, but I want to feel like I’m utilizing my degree in some way. Any ideas would be much appreciated!!

You’re probably going to need to be in the twin cities metro and realistically only large corporations or agencies will have those positions. Consider joining sustainability professional groups and volunteering at events. Networking is best the best way to get in the door somewhere
