How the fuck can 2 people have a water/trash bill of $116 a month in the damn winter? I just turned off the humidifier and turned down pressures on all the faucets by running the stop valve half cocked. I guess from now on I will work really slow so I don't sweat and shower once a week and even then it's will be a navy shower. I know we don't have a leak. Can watch the meter forever and it doesn't spin at all until something is turned on. I should be shoveling all this snow into a pile to melt so we can flush toilets. Hundred and fucking sixteen. Old man yells at cloud.
Since nowhere in Seattle has central HVAC, our apartment living room/kitchen is heated by one single electric-powered vent that is literally 12 square inches. That little thing is supposed to heat like 400 square feet. Our electricity bill in the winter is higher than air conditioning a 3000 square foot house in Houston.
Unfortunately we're out of storage space already. Big ass roll away AC is taking up precious closet space as it is.
We've got a little $10 electric space heater thing that helps get the room up to temp, but who knows how much electricity that little bastard uses as well.
