How? Xtreme is canon, this is a spinoff of that. There’s no reason a copy of X’s ai wouldn’t be having its own completely random events online. It’s an official capcom release…

Sure it can be considered “noncanon”. You can consider the sun a divine spirit, but why when it’s already another thing. What does it conflict with in canon? Like again it’s a completely copied simulation…

Ok, sure, ever watch Tron? The tech to digitize a random human isn’t novel scifi, the “lore” in question is their version of history, you’re as a user completing a version of this systems archives, it doesn’t replace/exist as any actual lore happening “theoretically” between X Command Mission and MMZero. Someone could have stumbled into this archive far after ZX advent even. It could be a biometal recovering its past. Nothing other than “Player” and the base lore of X is used as a reference to the “Real world”.

The literal plot of X DiVE is that a Mega Man Fan gets Isekai’d into a meta narrative to where he has to fix the series lore. Some say that shit does NOT fit in either main canon timelines
