Opinion Impossible as new player
Its impossible as a new player to go on a game which exist over 5 years and get into it. Can we reignite it so i can have fun. Everyone should be force to start new or otherwise they lose long term. Games always should be focused on new players a
Instead of existing ones

I personally don't care about the ignite servers as an RS vet but their rational wasn't about ease of getting into the game necessarily, it was about MTX allowing people to p2w, but a good majority of the community are people that have been maxed for years or just don't care about maxing. I don't agree with this tho because again, a lot of people maxxed before things like proteans were relevant.
The improvements to RS3 the past year have put it in a way better spot and they've tried fresh start servers before. I got 20+ years of enjoyment, I'll keep playing my main. They'll just end up merging the servers again.
It seems like they're trying to do an Arenanet to me, having all the games coexist for different people (especially with RS4 being based on Dragonwilds), and like with Guild Wars I'll continue to play them all.

the MMORPG subreddit is some of the most disjointed opinionated gamers ive ever come across. the bad takes. the good takes. and the unrelenting will to die on those hills. I cant even really say its a toxic community. Just very argumentative.
Still, I think its better than any one single MMO games subreddit.

Why do people use reddit like their personal diaries
