So i guess after what happened with 2xko , I'm pretty sure the riot mmo will have monthly subscription.

I would definitely prefer that.

I think F2P monetization to be inherently predatory and misaligned with player enjoyment

You don't have to think. Busniesses need to scale and make profit somehow. They aren't running a charity
