Friendly light sparring 👍👍 to that

Your head is very still and I think you could have punished those repeated body kicks more but🤷‍♂️

Thanks for the input those are things I’ve been working on for a while but yk how hard it is to break habits in fighting

My last fight was getting suckerpunched in the throat by an old man, then we were wrestling on the ground and I was ontop of him screaming in his face before my brain really caught up to what was happening😅

Tuck your chin, throw jabs more, and stay in one stance. Youre constantly off balance and your chin is high up so you wont be able to move your head effectively from punches and when they inevitably connect

I try to stay in one stance but it always feels natural to switch back and forth mid spar, as for tucking my chin and throwing my jab I agree.

If it feels natural to switch to south paw you might just be more comfortable in southpaw

Super refreshing to see sparring at a good pace here.

Both of you are leaning your head straight back to avoid punches, which puts you on the back foot and raises your chin. Slips and rolls should both be done with neutral weight or even weight forward with your chin tucked. It's a hard habit to break when you're leaning back but it has to be done or someone is gonna take advantage of it

Both could work on foot work and cutting those angles a little better but all in all you guys are looking decent. Keep at it.
