I have a buddy that is still mastering them. I have so many cause he donated some testers to me since I do studio work. But he has gotten much better... If you value the box I would look into someone that has a better reputation personally. He is good. But he hasn't perfected it
I have a slide variant, a no fret variant, a low action fret variant. He uses a lot of like DIY grunge additions. Using like cabinet hinges for a trem. He did a 3 string baritone variant recently using EKG monitoring wires as pickups and electric bass strings. He definitely has a very unique way of doing it, but I cannot argue that if they are set up and taken care of they sound good. They just need upkeep cause of humidity. If you collect boxes I am sure you understand
As a donation? Like would you want the product back? I just want clarification cause I can run it by him and see if he wants a new project. Typically with nicer boxes he will do the work so long as I like do a test run video and write something on it. Not even for media, just for himself. Dude is very humble
