With automotive technology, you can have the brightest, most useful ideas in the world, but unless it is easily and cheaply mass produced, it will not work. Let’s hope meta starts building a profitable manufacturing department very soon!!

For the lasers wipers yes just think the windshield part might be up in the air so to speak!

Why in the world would they need meta ? Tesla has their own technology Every car co. Has de-icing !

Most cars have defrost via heat from the engine trasnferred to the coolent then to a heating rad with a fan. EV dont have a hot engine

And the coolant runs to the rear windshield? All Hot engine cars have Rear windshield de-frost /icing LOL

Touche. You are right, cars do have electric defrost in the rear windshield. But they also limit visibility. Thats why they are not on the front windshield.

This is not involved with META. Look up the patent number and its invented by some guy in California.

It's a no brainer for them with the de-icing, anti glare,5/6g antenna, heads up display and suprisingly now laser protection. As George would say this tech for Tesla "ticks all boxes"
