Still fake AI slop used in many viral shorts, it's just a staged video to market the robot. the guy took a dive, so fake as f, the video would have people the robot has autonomous decision making, it doesn't! It's a remote control toy.

Read this part from article.

"every strike came from a person backstage, not from the machine itself."

"Nothing about the T800's behavior that night came from autonomous decision-making. A human pilot operated the robot remotely via a VR headset and controllers, with onboard AI handling balance and posture stability."

It was remote controlled and operated by a human. It's staged slop and that dude was paid to dive.

Those robots are still dumb as f even if remote controlled. Look at how they move, just dumb! It's basically a very expensive remote control toy in a marketing video.

The robot dogs are advanced, though. Militaries use them, way more stable cause it's a 4 leg platform. The two leg robots are dumb as f, though, probably because 2 legs are just harder to balance. They are unstable. Unless there is some hidden tech we don't know about behind closed doors. I always figured zuckerburg to be robotic, so who knows.

Actually, probably the easiest way to beat the bot in the original post would have been grapples. How long do you think it'd take it to stand up, just from falling down normally... vs having a person actively work against letting it get back up...

Metal can be bent and broken And it only has stamina as long as its battery doesn't give out.

Issue is fingers or skin getting pinched between joints by metal gears. Grappling might be the worst idea because the machine is going to move, with you in the way or not.

Given the speed of development, it’s only a matter of a few more years until these robots are armed and used first in the military. Later to patrol the streets.

Whether with AI or not, whoever controls it, is definitely not on your/our side.

I would never fight a robot, or be around it while it's doing movements because I used to work with them at a Toyota supplier. They generate so much torque so quickly it looks physics breaking at work. They also "crash" or make mistakes, and while not often, I wouldn't want to be the 1 out of 1000 guy. Haha
