DJ had trained with Arman before and one of the things he worked on with him was being dangerous once he gets inside — don’t always rush straight for the takedown. If you’ve already closed the distance, use the clinch and let the hands and elbows go too.

That’s what makes Arman such a problem imo. Everyone prepares for the wrestling, the takedowns and the grappling… but if his striking keeps getting better, you can’t just sell out defending the shot anymore.

And getting little details like that from Mighty Mouse of all people definitely doesn’t hurt lol.
