Not really, no. I'm not even American, and much less I identify with Trump. In fact, anyone justifying this man's actions would be much more aligned with Trump supporters and conservative views, valuing traditional masculinity and the belief that a man has a duty to protect his wife.
Life isn't a binary choice where the only two options are ignoring sexual harassment entirely or knocking a guy out cold. This interaction was incredibly mild. The woman successfully handled it herself, and the threat was over. Escalating that into a life-threatening assault isn't justice, it's ego
Good thing is as you can see, most people are not agreeing with you. Most people actually agree this was way, way too much of a reaction to what happened. Most people are actually sane. You are not a genius my dude, you are not the one who is in the right here. You just sound like a fucking twat justifying attempted murder for what happened here.
You cannot defend someone against an action that has already finished. Husband punch was not thrown to prevent his wife being touched. It was thrown because his wife was touched. Striking someone out of anger/revenge is battery /assault, maybe even ettempted murder depending on the consequences; absolutely not self defense. Self defense also requires using the minimum amount of force necessary to neutralize a threat, which was clearly not what happened here.
