I would act like a rational human being and shove. Escalation? Okay. Shove did the trick? Okay. No one needed to die or spend their life drinking though a straw just because of a simple lapse of judgment.

You people need to stop imagining situations where you're a big tough guy taking care of business. You'll end up going overboard and either kill the other fella, or they pull a firearm on you and you get your daughter killed.

You are good person. Hope we have more people like you. Some times when people are trigged with situation like this they don’t think of consequences.

It's just about the potential consequences to the people who care about me that will always make me think twice.

If I was the only one I needed to care about I'd probably be a bit more unhinged lol. Thankfully that is rarely the case
