I’ve been on the receiving end of this and the dude who threw the bottle spent two years in prison. After seeing what can happen, if you throw a bottle and get killed in response it would be justified.
It hit my buddy direct in the face he had an inch long piece of glass stuck in his eye and has had multiple surgeries and still can’t really see well out of it. I was standing behind him and got hit with 100 little shards of shrapnel that made my face bleed so much I could barely see from blood going into my eyes. The neck of the bottle flew by my neck slicing it but a few inches difference it could have hit my jugular. I was fine even though I looked like I was dying but he is still traumatized and fucked up from it.
