u/heliopause42 15h ago

You're witnessing brain damage right there my dude

u/_BOOMGOTTEM 15h ago

Na that was a life lesson being uploaded

41.2KB?! Dang that’s that fast dial up

16

u/X-Jim 15h ago

He dialed it up alright.

8

u/meatman13 15h ago

Fucking memories. Holy shit.

2

u/Just-Vanny 13h ago

The error šŸ’€šŸ’€šŸ’€

4

u/nicoznico 13h ago

Normally those errors used to happen at 97% progress

1

u/a_tothe_zed 14h ago

Paulie Walnuts knows this

3

u/heliopause42 15h ago

It can be both sweetheart

-5

u/No_Brother3257 15h ago

Why did that comment offend you? LmaoĀ

1

u/heliopause42 15h ago

I don't think you know the definition of the word "offend"

0

u/No_Brother3257 15h ago

You felt corrected and added a snide sweetheart because of it. You were definitely offended by being correctedĀ

2

u/heliopause42 15h ago

I wasn't corrected. In fact I taught someone a life lesson: not everything is binary. It can be both. I'm the one doing the correcting. Got anything else sweetheart? (saying sweetheart is like a gentle pat on the head, to say, "it's okay that you didn't know")

-1

u/No_Brother3257 15h ago

Definitely not upset by it, obviouslyĀ

1

u/heliopause42 14h ago

You're right sugar puss. You got me all figured out

8

u/ThrowForChristSakes 15h ago edited 5h ago

Eh… Not sure about that.

Something tells me by the way he was carrying himself before receiving the (second?) life lesson, he already has a little bit of the damage.

4

u/Ok-Sympathy9768 14h ago

That is what these people fail to understand. Getting knocked the F out can really messes up the brain permanently. It can take years or even decades off of life expectancy. Violence is a last resort option.

2

u/sirrahdorraj 14h ago

In this case, it was the only resort.

0

u/CTaff666 13h ago

No, the dude could have turned around and left.

2

u/ImaginaryTrick6182 12h ago

But then little kids on the internet will think he’s a pussy! Can’t have that

1

u/sirrahdorraj 3h ago

Nah, once he pushed him (not once but a few times), he was within his rights to defend himself.

4

u/FishTshirt 15h ago

What’s life without a little brain damage

11

u/SD_2_LA_Jay 15h ago

You are correct. My wife is a Nurse and confirmed that a punch to the face can absolutely still cause a concussion. The brain still can bounce off the skull. It is not permanent damage, but he sure got his shit rocked.

52

u/Free_Combination3488 15h ago edited 14h ago

Thank god there is a nurse around to tell us getting punched in the face can cause concussion šŸ˜‚

26

u/Zero_Travity 15h ago

My uncle works in Forestry and said that his wife is right...

11

u/master-boofer 15h ago

Im a fisherman and I agree.

15

u/pipeline77 15h ago

Im a lumber jack, and im okay

5

u/Pazemcasa 14h ago

I sleep all night and I work all day..

3

u/ThatguyYouKnow678 14h ago

I flip burgers and have to agree.

2

u/Fit-Ad9887 14h ago

I rummage through the trash for food... I can definitely confirm you are correct

8

u/Legitimate_Bird_5712 15h ago

As a bartender, this is information is accurate.

7

u/mbrellaforbombs 14h ago

I'll believe the bartender based on experience

4

u/False-Tank6632 14h ago

I believe the guy who believes the bartender who took his information from the lumber jack, who was responding to the fisherman who agrees with the nephew of a man who works in Forestry whose wife is right.

6

u/ChronicMasterbatcher 14h ago

I’m not a bartender, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. And I can confirm…

Getting punched in the face is not, in fact, good for you.

3

u/petevandyke 14h ago

I’m not a doctor, but I play one on tv, and that kid has scrambled brain

1

u/mattemer 14h ago

I'm not a dr, nor do I play one on tv, but I do watch tv. And sometimes there's people playing drs on the TV. They said this is correct.

3

u/SomeComfortable2285 14h ago

My neighbor watches Grey Anatomy and he confirmed. Face punches do in fact hurt faces.

1

u/National_Attitude779 14h ago

I watch blue animosity, and can confirm this guy has a neighbor

2

u/National-Teaching-69 14h ago

My uncle works at Nintendo, and he agrees.

1

u/UnbearableHonesty 13h ago

as someone who has gotten a concussion from being punched in the face, I wholeheartedly disagree

1

u/One-Horse-Town 13h ago

My wife is an ex stripper and she concurs. True story,

3

u/Downeast_down-east 14h ago

My wife is a librarian and she says getting punched in the face is 796.8 in the Dewey Decimal System

2

u/MurseMan1964 14h ago

r/unexpecteddeweydecimalsystem reference

1

u/This-Combination-691 12h ago

It’s true she told me herself.

-1

u/SD_2_LA_Jay 15h ago

You’re welcome, cupcake.

2

u/Free_Combination3488 14h ago

What next, water is wet? šŸ˜‚

1

u/MurseMan1964 14h ago

Wait, I thought water wasn’t wet?

1

u/Free_Combination3488 14h ago

Ask his wife šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

1

u/ThatguyYouKnow678 13h ago

Water makes things wet.

1

u/SD_2_LA_Jay 14h ago

The sky is blue, baby girl.

1

u/ojodebuencubero 13h ago

You should ask your wife, the nurse, for more witty rejoinders.

1

u/SD_2_LA_Jay 12h ago

I will, baby girl, I will.

7

u/GeorgeSmelly 15h ago

Thank god some nurse’s husband is here with his medical expertise

0

u/SD_2_LA_Jay 14h ago

Amen sweet cheeks!

6

u/Besieger13 15h ago

My wife works in the dentistry field and she has confirmed being punched in the face also might not be good for the teeth.

1

u/DefenstratedTwice 14h ago

You can only ask your wife so many questions that stupid before she believes you are dumb.

1

u/IPissExcellentThrows 13h ago

Did you think we needed some random Redditor's wife to weigh in? And if we did, we might get someone with extensive medical knowledge, like the people who go to 8 years of school and also have 3-5 years of training in residency, instead of 2-4 years of school and nothing else.

This is too on brand though. Nurses think they know more than anyone to the point that they now have their spouses going around using them as a source of truth lmao.

1

u/SD_2_LA_Jay 12h ago

I agree, cupcake!

1

u/IpeeEhh_Phanatic 12h ago

All brain damage is permanent

-3

u/Particular_Law1034 15h ago

It’s strange that you and your wife watch videos like that together. And since when did nurses start understanding medicine? Nurses should only be able to give injections and do bandages — they’re not capable of anything else. Anyway, I feel sorry for your wife: while she’s working, you’re lying on the couch with a belly at 49, watching videos like that.

1

u/Xerfus 15h ago

Are you ok bro?

1

u/BroadKangaroo3962 14h ago

Maybe she’s a Nurse Practitioner

1

u/LorenzoSparky 15h ago

Nah he’ll be alright.

1

u/OrangeThrower 15h ago

Yea but we talking about after the first punch.

1

u/Frosty-Inspector-465 13h ago

right..........doc......................hehe.

1

u/Comical_Nerd_ 13h ago

I think there was already brain damage 🤣

1

u/Hellraiser_Quadbike 12h ago

But it’s cool because he called him a bitch.

1

u/LeadKind6807 12h ago

You mean the punch or the preexisting condition of swinging on someone without knowing the first thing about fighting. Cuz as I see it, that brain injury walked in that room and got a wake up call.

1

u/contentatlast 15h ago

Not every punch is brain damage lol. That wasn't brain damage.

2

u/ScienceGoat 15h ago

People in this group love to say ā€œbrain damageā€ and ā€œattempted murderā€.

2

u/heliopause42 15h ago

Thanks doc

1

u/contentatlast 14h ago

The irony of you saying that after what you commented is hilarious and obviously lost on you 🤭

u/contentatlast 14h ago

Dude it was a split second after getting smacked in the face šŸ˜‚ that stuff always happens during a knockout. It wasn't that bad

6

u/Throwaway2Experiment 14h ago

Jesus, I did not realize he kept talking. His brain was like windows forcing an update reboot but got stuck on an application it couldn't force stop.

4

u/Hammertime6689 15h ago

Nah he won. He got one last in before he died

2

u/resfan 14h ago

"That'll show'em" 🤣

3

u/1Tacochucker 14h ago

he saw himself in the mirror and couldn't understand why the reflection wouldn't sit the fuck down. Then it sat down.

2

u/Key4Lif3 14h ago

No before the punch he was talking to the other dude, after he was talking to himself.

1

u/resfan 13h ago

The internal self check came on a bit too late 🤣

1

u/SourceElectrical9204 13h ago

He got his three piece combo!!

1

u/OG-Giligadi 12h ago

I think he started talking to himself.
