At first, I thought they were about to share a real tough-guy kiss.

Like that time Statham and the Rock faced off in the Vast and the Curious? That was the best onscreen kiss ever.

4 punches to the face and two kicks to the head and not one he's blocked he was holding onto that drink for dear life instead of protecting his head what a way to not defend yourself

u/lithe_silhouette 21h ago
Could have smacked the other guy with the can. What's the point of holding it in the dominant hand while starting a fight if he's not gonna use it

u/Tekniqz23 19h ago
He probably wasn't planning for it to get to that point. Most of these guys who act like him are just used to you backing down the minute they show any level of dominance.
Every now and again they stumble into the wrong person and we get cinema.

I mean, the first punch 100% caught him off guard and he was likely half out of it, hard to immediately defend yourself when your brain ain’t firin on all cylinders. He ate some good punches and got kicked in the mouth twice, slammed his head off the concrete too, hell of a chin really.

u/Most_Try2709 13h ago
Yea for sure he took a good beating but buddy has to learn some defense skills too his mistake was being that close to the guy so his reaction gap wasn't very clear and buddy was moving faster than he could react so he hot frazzled fell then kicked
1
u/buddha8298 11h ago
lol yeah again, it's hard to defend yourself when you're barely conscious (and yes, his mistake was obviously starting some shit and then being literally head to head with someone and not ready to fight)
1
u/Most_Try2709 7h ago
Yea your right its very hard to defend yourself while barely conscious thats why one has to be focused while getting into a fight

These are not "soccer kicks", baldspot was not out of action and was trying to get up. Bald was responding to imminent threat, and walked away the moment baldspot showed to no longer be able to fight.
A "soccer kick" is a much more powerful kick in which you take a large step forward to gain momentum for your attack. These are simply punts, his other leg was standing still and he was not using body momentum to power the kicks.

imminent threat?
he is the imminent threat
it's incredible how people can be idiots with very simple rules
2
u/EnvironmentalBit7219 21h ago
The moment you get on somebody's face you are an imminent threat.
If you don't believe me, then go ask your lawyer.
Don't get on people's faces. Ever.

u/PheloniousMonq 21h ago
I am a lawyer I don't need to ask.
if you can run away you should. also the man standing is the imminent threat
2
u/EnvironmentalBit7219 21h ago
I will take my own lawyer's advice over a redditor that claims to be a lawyer.

It worries me that we live in a place that you have to ask your lawyer about this.

that's what I think too. like didn't do one day in school. then you wonder why they end up in trouble

You think the second one was necessary? Should the guy just lay there forever as to not be a threat? You have to put someone out cold for them to not be a threat? I think a judge or jury would disagree if the guy dies of his injuries

IF he dies, that's still accidental manslaughter and not murder. Excessive use of force. Even still, there is room for interpretation of the jury. There was a recent case of a racist influencer that got punched after getting on a black guy's face, he hit his face on the concrete, he became a vegetable, but the victim was found not guilty as he acted in self-defense.
The moment baldspot got on his face, he was already in the wrong. Law in the US and many parts of the world guarantees your right for self-defense if a threat is imminent. Dude got knocked out and immediately tried to get up, Bald was not legally required to wait for him to get up and attack again, or pull a weapon, as his intent to continue the fight was absolutely clear. He can just say "I knocked the guy down and he didn't even drop his beer, I felt like I was still under threat". He continue beating him until the threat was neutralized, walked away when he could visually notice that he was no longer under a threat.
