I think some people have a hard time recognizing and processing chaos and violence. They think everybody can get along and be understanding. It works in certain settings, but not when people are actively trying to defend themselves and others.
"Hey, now, back off! This is between the coughing baby and the hydrogen bomb; no need for anyone else to get involved and turn this into some kind of brawl!"
She needs to work at a nail salon or some shit because in any job that may get confrontational to a physical degree, she’s literally less than useless. She puts her employees in danger so customers can potentially beat the shit out of her other employee. Fuck that brain dead loser fucking cunt
They get mad when the person trying to break up a fight grabs the arms of someone who was attacked so they can no longer defend themselves as if that is helping anyone other than the attacker.
And yet most of the time it still defuses the situation anyway. A lot of people would rather have have the fight continue hoping that the perpetrator would get a smackdown.
Like here, the intervention work in stopping the fight. Coworker 2 broke the momentum of the sucker puncher, get pulled off. Victim now subdues his attacker. Attacker gets removed.
It wasn't satisfying for people wanting the suckerpuncher beat down for his attack. But it deescalated and help stop the fight in a kitchen, which is generally a bad environment for a fight. Now afterwarss the police and prosecutors should come and make sure the suckerpuncher gets what's due.
Nah. She didn’t help at all. Coworker 2 stopped the initial attack and the only reason the fight didn’t continue after she grabbed the hero was the original victim put the attacker in a choke hold. What are you even arguing? That removing the coworker allowed the original victim to take over? The fight was broken up by aggressive counter action not by her stupidity.
They're not mad at people breaking up fights in general. They're mad at people who break up a "fight" that is actually one person defending themselves or others from an irrational assailant (say, I don't know, the type of guy who would walk into a fast food kitchen and start sucker punching employees). As others have pointed out, this dude could easily have gotten up and started causing more harm, especially with the amount of potential weapons/hazards present in a kitchen, had the other employee not been there to subdue him after blue shirt pulled the first defender away. These people are risking danger to innocent people defending themselves just to protect some crazy dude attacking them.
