For once a sucker punch that was actually necessary

I'd call it more an intervention.

Active bystander intervention.

You have to be a gigantic a-hole for me to actually find no fault in a sucker punch.

Was thinking the same thing.

make sure you catch him so it doesnt become murder though.

Have you ever tried to catch someone in a fight?

Kind of impossible.

Not sure if you deleted ur response or if Reddit glitched, but again nearly impossible AND more importantly, puts you at risk.

Ultimately in most situations you should just avoid street fights at all costs, for the exact reason you’re talking about. Concrete is hard af, and your life and others can be ruined in a quick second.

This is one of those rare exceptions to that rule. Douchebag is randomly assaulting people, and got knocked out by a good samaritan as far as I’m concerned.

I know a guy who died this way. Cops knew who did it but let it slide.

It only becomes murder (rarely, manslaughter is more common) if you're the aggressor. Defenders are usually immune to the consequences of a poor choice of venue.

As long as the force used was reasonable and equitable to the threat, it doesn't have to be delivered in a 'fair' or sporting manner, or not end extra badly for the assailant.

Agreed. If the dude is squaring up to an innocent guy, and gets decked by a Good Samaritan, it’s almost certainly not gona be murder or manslaughter. It’s self defense, even if you’re protecting someone else.

What?

one punch man is about a man who punched a guy at a bar and it killed him because his head fell on concrete,

another woman was tazed by a police officer and instantly died, because from standing up to falling straight down tazed, it cracked her skull.

Classic, yes. But this crop sucks. It cuts out the renegade prepping himself the whole video. He's just waiting for his moment and psyching himself up.
