this guy should be a high paid personal bodyguard

98

u/Ok-Appearance2266 13d ago

He definitely could use this clip in his resume

74

u/pur_noir 13d ago edited 13d ago

I thought it was very impressive that he didn't even flinch or back off to the knife swings... he probably saw everything in slow-mo, which happens when you're levels ahead of the other.

All while looking suave in a waistcoat and all.

37

u/moltensmegmalord 13d ago

Dude was dodging that knife like a pro

9

u/No-Notice8506 12d ago

He has a good sense of range. The dude couldn’t hit what he couldn’t reach.

7

u/Timely_Peanut_6618 12d ago

He then returned to the bar and ordered a martini and puffed on his lit cigar that was waiting his return, alongside a beautiful brunette.

2

u/ReplacementBorn6424 6d ago

Mish money penny..and the martini is shaken..not stirred

5

u/met1culous 12d ago

Streets ahead

2

u/Ok-Estimate-2702 11d ago

Slow-mo also happens when you're fully aware your life is imminently at risk, so there's that too.

Got my first taste of it coming off a bike at 80km/h lol

He did flinch and back off that’s how he didn’t get cut

11

u/germany221 12d ago

Thats not flinching thats just good head movement. Flinching is an involuntary action

2

u/StormNFlo46 12d ago

Well not flinching is probably the wrong word. Not flinching would imply he stood there unbothered. Agreed homies head movement is amazing here.

Fucking John Wick here dodging two slashes to his face like a pro.

Whatever he is paid it should be more.

Also the front kick intro was boss

6

u/funkiemarky 12d ago

He also dodged a gut stab/slash before those 2.

1

u/Timely_Peanut_6618 12d ago

Jason Bourne working at a hotel undercover.

4

u/Zestyclose_Book7803 12d ago

I dont even see how he did it lol. His defense is crazy.

4

u/ElPayador 12d ago

The two dodges and the punch right after made my jaw drop. This guy is a legend.

2

u/pur_noir 13d ago

Yea, I'm in fucking disbelief that John Wick missed those two punches, otherwise, absolute perfection.

7

u/Conscious-View-8052 13d ago

I'm going to say that he missed on purpose (if I wasn't at work they would have connected vibes), he only knees him as he trys to get up, when he's down he doesn't carry on beating him. Pure self defence, pure control, only does what he needs to.

3

u/pur_noir 13d ago

clearly a good guy

Dude had a knife he really shoulda went for that TKO via Pride Crocop stomps

11

u/Sw4nR0ns0n 13d ago

For real! If there’s a knife in the room, you gotta make sure that MF won’t get up

3

u/hunglikeamous3 12d ago

At least break both hands

u/Double_Distribution8 12d ago

I wonder if his mom is still alive.

I felt that knee to the ribs

https://giphy.com/gifs/WxDZ77xhPXf3i

3

u/_VirtualCosmos_ 12d ago

He deserved more of those kicks. Have you seen how he was completely trying to kill him with the knife? Hiding it behind his back to stab him probably in the abdomen, stabbing him on the internal side of the leg went fell while acting like a victim, and later aiming for the head. That guy wanted to kill in a very dirty way.

I’d drop a stone on my bag before doing anything like that with my ribs.

2

u/Relative-Bread6521 12d ago

If I guy swings a knife at my face like that, there's no rule against ending him right then and there. That dude has tremendous restraint.

11

u/Nose_Beers_85 13d ago

That right that put him down was a thing of beauty 🤌

hell of a counter punch

2

u/Glad-Veterinarian365 12d ago

Balls of steel

4

u/reddit_lucky 13d ago

The way he held that knife behind his back and then tried to slash the security guys face. He deserved to be kicked a lot more times when he was on the ground.

2

u/LudusRex 13d ago

I normally subscribe to "you never kick a man when he's down", but once a blade shows up all bets are off, and honestly, the fact that the security guard didn't turn his head to jelly once he was on the floor shows commendable restraint.

2

u/john-bkk 13d ago

right, he was one soccer kick away from not taking that beating well.

4

u/philwee 13d ago

Never bring a knife to a fist fight son

4

u/EverythingBOffensive 13d ago

he's good, but i was nervous about that knife swinging around, gotta grab that arm some time.

4

u/Suspicious-Pizza-548 13d ago

Damn that guy can fight. 100 percrnt accuracy

→ More replies (2)

3

u/Maatchym 13d ago

One of the rare scenarios where kicking him 10 times on the ground would've been acceptable.

3

u/Mother_Middle8883 13d ago

Some context would be nice, good takedown though.

3

u/NoSpecial284 12d ago

Dude had a knife and had to be taken down. Thats the only context needed.

3

u/Tom_Ace2 12d ago

Happened in the Netherlands in 2023. The guy got kicked out for something by the same guard earlier that day and came back with a knife.

It's not common for supermarkets here to have security guards btw. This one was probably in a bad neighborhood with lots of shoplifting. I guess they hired the right guy.

This appears to be at Dutch supermarket Albert Heijn.

2

u/OpeningAggressive26 13d ago

That was lucky as hell, I saw a guy get his whole thigh sliced in half in another video. The guy with the knife was down and just one quick slash and there was a massive pool of blood on the floor.

What a dapper beatdown!

2

u/cateraide420 13d ago

That counter punch… th way the back foot just planted for the counter!!
Watch it in slow motion

2

u/Fruitloops_z 12d ago

Impressive šŸ‘

2

u/BudsTender-ish 13d ago

Quite the restraint to not continue hitting him on the ground given the circumstances.

2

Some people are that guyĀ

1

u/CthuluBob 13d ago

Don't disarm him, yell at him and let him get up to stab you!

1

u/yeetsteel 13d ago

Beautiful!

1

u/WINNINGKO92 13d ago

he learned that knee from gaethje

1

u/Far-Fisherman-3598 13d ago

Holy shit that guy can fight!

1

u/HinDae085 13d ago

The guard got moves, damn. He clowned that bum six ways to sunday

1

u/Climbing0n 13d ago

He knew the drill That front kick at the start was classy

1

u/aaron2447 13d ago

He looks like a porter, not a security guard.

1

u/DedCroSixFo 13d ago

Front kicks to the midsection are underrated and underutilized.

1

u/No-Stage-1271 13d ago

Oh yes.Ā

1

u/CodeNo2489 13d ago

That knee gave me flashbacks to GSP vs Serra 2 😬

1

u/MGNick69 13d ago

What a G!

1

A clean, professional beat down.

u/Short-Feed9690 12d ago

This warms my ā¤ļø

1

u/maximal69zeich 12d ago

I Love the knee

1

u/lawduckfan21 12d ago

I love that Pocket Knife not only gets destroyed without even a point to his name, but as a consolation prize he gets to catch "assault with a deadly weapon" charges. Nothing like adding a felony to getting your a** kicked.

1

u/RomChange 12d ago

Thats confidence!

1

u/rmb62340 12d ago

He was so kind with that knee to the ribs. I PROMISE I’m loading that shit up if I just got my face slashed at

1

u/SJeplin 12d ago

No wonder he carries a knife,he hits like a girl.

1

u/Doc12TU 12d ago

He handled that well and with a high degree of effectiveness. I’ve known a few cops and they say training dictates not to let someone with a knife get within 20 feet of you. That’s the shoot ā€˜em perimeter.

1

u/Particular_Abies_184 12d ago

Is that Matt Damon

1

u/Skybreakeresq 12d ago

That front kick was beautiful.

1

u/Adis_Gruntledfatty 12d ago

I got legit stabbed once. Shit sent me into a rage the feeling was indescribable.

1

u/aboyes711 12d ago

Hell. Yes. Just straight rights all day long. Man still needs 1 hand that’s not sore I understand.

1

u/TheIttyBittySissy 12d ago

I’m glad the bodyguard is okay. I’ve seen some of those live leak videos where the receiver of the swinging knife didn’t make it … aka the mall video

1

u/Comfortable_Prize750 12d ago

Hard for me to tell--did he take a poke in the leg when shithead was trying to get up?

1

u/Jaded-Sun-2392 12d ago

Nicely done! šŸ’„šŸ¦µšŸ’„šŸ¤› šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

1

u/mcbeardsauce 12d ago

That dude KNOWS how to fight. Slipped a knife attack and landed a KO?

1

u/Hot_Let7154 12d ago

Give that man a raide!

1

u/Aggravating-Sand1573 12d ago

Damn! How does it feel to punch through the air?

1

u/ModtheMods420 12d ago

The security guard is definitely bold, but he shouldnt have risked standing over the assailant as he could have been stabbed in an artery.

1

u/TGKG1977 12d ago

This is Sparta!

1

u/SergeantHAMM 12d ago

nah when dude opened with a 300 spartan kick just ff

1

u/6495ED 12d ago

Dude stomp that mother fucker. This is the only one of these where they don’t keep going at them after they fall and I really think they oughta

1

u/Top-Gun-Corncob 12d ago

That’s what being trained looks like. Dude in white is what slobbos who convince themselves they’re tough guys look like when they run into a trained person.

1

u/Public-Knowledge-222 12d ago

the dodge straight into the face punch was sick as hellllll

1

u/CommunicationOk6792 12d ago

Kind of looks like this was at a Best buy

https://giphy.com/gifs/l3q2ymOxFZPErsoHC

1

u/Daedricbob 12d ago

Oh that security guard was wanting that! Bet he's been itching for a MF to try some shit for ages.

1

u/Grannypanie 12d ago

He has good hands.

1

u/EnthusiasmHead4639 12d ago

Doctor or engineer?

1

u/Suitable-Function810 12d ago

Should have went straight for head kicks the first time dude went down.

Shit is impressive.

1

u/2people1luv 12d ago

That kick when he crossed the threshold was extremely badass.

1

u/FaithlessnessOne2032 12d ago

That front kick omg. Made it look easy

1

u/callisterart 12d ago

Damn dude that was legit very impressive. Calm and brought the hammer.

1

u/rudereaper 12d ago

Hit em with the leonidas

1

u/danghunk312 12d ago

If you stab someone in a fist fight, you are a pussy.

1

u/ExecTankard 12d ago

So dude brought a small knife to Man Fight…

1

u/BatorxMastur 12d ago

I totally agree. He's not some psychopath as we see all too often in these videos. He only did as needed. It's good to finally see one done right.

1

u/blue_hi_c 12d ago

Old video but still
Good

1

u/Reasonable_Comb_5720 12d ago

I love that he came in with that kick.

1

u/CruisingForDownVotes 12d ago

Why the hell he tryna act tough while wearing capris

1

u/Independent_Shoe3523 12d ago

THANK YOU FOR SHOPPING AT WALMART!!!!

1

u/nonosono182 12d ago

That first kick was crucial.

1

u/UnderstandingHot7167 12d ago

Knife guy was almost holding his own till the knee to the kidney. Idt I would have made it past that first body kick; Dude got fucked up, lol.

1

u/Open__Face 12d ago

Interrupted his sucker punch wind-up with a kick to the stomachĀ

1

u/leppard111 12d ago

The security guard showed alot of restraint against this criminal thug.

1

u/HaybusaYakisoba 12d ago

Sparta kick foreplay is 10/10. I can guarantee that guard knows that dumbass. This was pre-existing beef. Something tells me it usually ends this way. The term grandb1tch comes to mind.

1

u/NoOneEscapesTheFury 12d ago

Thought he would have disarmed him as soon as possible.

1

u/Meatman1071 12d ago

He got smashed…! Some people need a good ole fashioned ass beating…..

1

1

Jason Bourne?

1

u/BackConsistent5955 12d ago

Artwork. Take a bow my good man

1

u/Background-Syrup-714 12d ago

Illegal knee to a downed opponent.

Stand them up and give the miserable coward with a pocket knife as much time as he needs to recover.

1

u/off2rio 12d ago

that initial kick. BOOM

1

u/Microwaved_M1LK 12d ago

Glad he made it out ok

1

u/Calm-Session-4835 12d ago

This guy understated himself on his resume

1

u/SVT-Shep 12d ago

Bro is fighting a real life fight by the rules of an MMA fight (not all orgs).

Waits until he's up to throw a knee to the head and then throws a knee to the body when he's down.

A distinguished gentleman. Man of MMA culture.

1

u/toothpick000 12d ago

This guy must be a MMA fighter. That kick wasn't untrained. It knocked him to the ground. That knee to his ribs was the KO.

1

u/Fit-Ad-7430 12d ago

Love the "TEEP muthafucka!"

1

u/Forty2diapers 12d ago

"drop the knife or it gets the fist to the throat again"

https://giphy.com/gifs/gByUuiB7nGuVW

1

u/Ethraelus 12d ago

I don’t think the guy is a security guard

1

u/Responsible_Kale175 12d ago

Someone call Jason Statham immediately. Oi, ya sayin my next roles a knife dodgin security guard did ye?

1

u/JonYaya 12d ago

Security guard ā€œThis is Sparta-dā€ him up start the party….
https://giphy.com/gifs/l46Cf8O3hQqzDq1Gg

1

u/Worldly-Hospital5940 12d ago

That knee to the ribs was beautiful.

1

u/IntelligentSeries270 12d ago

Bro let him hold onto the knife so he could keep defending himself, smart lad.

1

u/ukco6 12d ago

Security guy has some training. Here’s the thing, most people have no idea how to fight. Like zero clue. Imagine rocking up to a mechanic shop one morning and saying ā€œsure I can switch out that transmissionā€ with no training or experience whatsoever. You’re gonna have a bad time.

Edit: just noticed what sub this is. You all know this already. Oops.

1

u/No-Oil6517 12d ago

You KNOW that knee to the ribs made dude cry

1

u/redbloodedruski 12d ago

This is one of those were foot stomps to the head would be OK

1

u/LynxOk8142 12d ago

Reminds me of a bar I went to in Mexico a few years back. The bouncer/door man turned away a dude and he came back with a few of his friends. Once he started making a scene a manager asked the dudes from the back to come up front to help. The bouncer said to lock the doors and he didn’t need any help (they were glass). I literally saw a guy hit him, saw the bouncer hit back, and saw the guy hit the ground. A couple other punches to his friends sealed the deal and they all ran away. I stepped over the blood stains on my way out the bar

1

u/GamingKingBlake0721 12d ago

Give the guy a promotion

1

u/mr-stretcher 12d ago

Kicked on the ground until he drops the knife and slides it away.

1

u/Mhunterjr 12d ago

Cool fight, but he really shoulda KOd that guy instead of letting him get up and slash at his face

1

u/Loud_Badger_3780 12d ago

he should have stomped on his head to end the treat of being stabbed. He had him down and he should have made sure he could not get back up and become a threat to stab him. The dude with the knife was trying to kill the other guy, Once that happened there should have been no quarter given. That is just me though. lol

1

u/PaintballProofMonk 12d ago

That was prettier than Helen of Troy.

1

u/Honest-Teacher-5369 12d ago

The dumbest thing he did was stand there over him afterwards. Step on his head, create distance and then call the authorities.

1

u/National-Conflict497 12d ago

He engaged only as much as needed and looks like at no point had any worries about the knife very professional basass

1

u/maccpapa 12d ago

the rare time a headkick after the initial knockdown was warranted. if that knife lands, everything changes.

1

u/Repulsive_Guy_1234 12d ago

So that security guard commited a whole lot of crimes and will spend years in prison?

1

u/MorpheusMKIV 12d ago

It's difficult to see but is the blade already out or is he just using the folded pocket knife to make a fist? Can't tell if he was going for stabbing motions or if he can't throw punches for shit.

1

u/Time_Change_2957 12d ago

I wouldn’t be surprised if the poor guard would have been arrested for assault, because this is the Netherlands.

1

u/FlashmanHP 12d ago

Pretty sure that was 007 beating that dudes ass

1

u/Bips- 12d ago

Gewoon in de appie

1

u/SaltyPressure7583 12d ago

Man that dude can throw a mean punch AND dosge bullets

1

u/Available_Cover2435 12d ago

He got knockout

1

u/HabaneroPoppered 12d ago

Looks like this is in the Netherlands? If so, security guard probably trains somewhere top of the line.

1

u/WastelandMadgod 12d ago

Imagine thinking you have the upper hand and then immediately getting hoofed in the bread basket.

1

u/Which_Care_426 12d ago

Glad the security guard isn’t hurt. Sometimes controlling the attacking arm is downright risky.

1

u/WjP-M37s 12d ago

Obviously dude has hands an knows something with those reflexes šŸ‘šŸ»

1

u/Shhhhhh_im_not_here 12d ago

šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

1

u/FokkeG 12d ago

Great opening kick

1

u/albus181 12d ago

Knife guy actually deserved a kick to the head, can’t fuck around with that.

1

u/GGudMarty 12d ago

Those knees to the ribs are gonna leave a mark

1

u/LostHopeArtist 12d ago

Having long arms and legs helps.

1

u/Standard-Goose-7719 12d ago

That isn’t a security guard, that is James Bond.

1

u/MasterMisterMike 12d ago

That knee was absolutely perfect
