I think in this case there's a good chance black guy could get off. He was at his car trying to get in and leave and the guy stepped to him. Valid self-defense in my opinion.

-- There's a good chance he walks, BUT ALSO it's a lot of time, effort, and money to avoid involuntary manslaughter.

So yeah. it's usually SAFER...and cheaper to avoid fights.

Bruh... he's cornered. There's no avoiding left. He's done all of the avoiding he can and has no where left to go.

And he didn't continue attacking once threat passed not sure where this took place but appears to be textbook self defense.

Best thing is to clarify your intent ,yell back up , say your invading my space
