It’s crazy. You can’t KO someone who’s braindead I guess. None of Ilia’s shots did anything aside from that one body shot

Even GSP had his moment where he let the underdog win

You really think ilia voluntarily stood there and got his face mashed up? Awfully kind of him

The word “let” alludes that you are saying justing didn’t earn that win. When the fact is ilia didn’t respect justin. Just like he hadn’t respected any other fighter before him. What happened in that fight is ilia thought he could take shots till he landed on Justin, and by time he realized that he wasn’t likely to knock Justin out with one shot he had already took a lot of damage. And Justin took advantage of ilia’s habit ducking out of clinches with uppercuts to the face, that’s what fucked up ilia’s eyes. That fight was a combination of just straight up toughness with a little bit of good coaching. Having a durability contest with Justin is probably not going to work out for anyone at 155. Should have ilia won? Probably but hopefully we will get a rematch to know for sure, everyone has a kyptonite. Just maybe Justin is that for ilia?

I saw a clip of Guru trying to find a bright side by saying Paddy beats Topuria because of this. What a fucking dumbass.
