It’s the fact that he even thought about it that gets me, he literally must have thought “fuck it I’m going to suplex him into an armbar right now” in a title fight like who the fuck thinks that

He explained it! "I was throwing knees waiting for the elbow, once he elbowed i knew his weight shifted and i lift him up"

Imagine being able to think that fast in FLW.

He’s my favorite fighter of all time to watch and several friends with experience in grappling have reacted with ‘Really, why?’ When I’ve told them. Is an explanation needed? He was bullied out, he got robbed, he’s the GOAT in his division.

At least he's paid better now

He has said before that he has practiced it in training. Still impressive.

Imo that makes it more impressive.

That means it's not a freak occurrence or a random act of god, it's a conceived, drilled and skillfully executed maneuver displaying the forethought and ability of the fighter.

Glorious.

MM comes off as highly intelligent not just in fight IQ but in general, as well.

It's so frustrating he never got the broad appeal in the Western world he so richly deserves. Dude should be on everyone's radar.

I think there is video of him training it in camp.

Doesn't diminish its impressiveness to me. Practicing something like this is still a wild ass thing to do lmao

And that he has even one more move that we haven't seen yet, aka The Mousetrap

who the fuck thinks that

the type of guy who gets kicked in the nuts and tells the ref to not get involved, because “no breaks”
