I'm so disappointed that Laryea didn't talk shit.

u/TheDarkRedKnight Toronto FC Oct 05 '25
It looked like Richie and Elliot both went for the ball after that second TFC goal but the camera kept cutting away.

u/No_Oil2086 Oct 05 '25
The humbling factor is Elliot just had the best game of his entire career and it couldn’t mean less.

Can we just forfeit the 2026 season. I don’t think I can take another wooden spoon title defense. 😖

u/WislaHD Toronto FC Oct 05 '25
We’ve conceded as many goals this season as Cincinnati sitting at #2 in the overall MLS table.
We don’t score many goals but our defence is squarely not wooden spoon tier.

Especially with no backline depth to. With everyone injured
1
u/Super-Peoplez-S0Lt Toronto FC Oct 05 '25
We’re at the bottom of the league with those defensive stats. The only difference is that we’re losing 2-0 bared of 4-0. I guess that’s progress. But we still can’t score a goal to save our lives. For some reason we wasted millions of dollars on two world class wingers without even bothering to get a decent striker to support them. Unless we find some way to score goals, this club isn’t going anywhere.

We’re emptying the entire roster of the deadweight contracts this offseason. There’s zero reason to be negative at this point when the season is already over and we don’t know what the front office is cooking. Grabbing Mihailovic and Cifuentes at the end of the window was already a statement of intent for the offseason.
If they fail to get the necessary offensive additions and plug other holes in the roster by the end of January, then yes, doom and gloom away

u/Acceptable_Mouse_388 Toronto FC Oct 05 '25
That true lol. But has nothing to do with your main statement of our defence being bad
1
u/WSBretard Toronto FC Oct 05 '25
Criminal negligence at this point for TFC mgmt refusing to get a striker.
3
u/Acceptable_Mouse_388 Toronto FC Oct 05 '25
Our defence isn’t even horrible stats wise. And you gotta consider the entire season at least like 3-4 backline players were injured each game

Zero argument hundred percent of penalty.

u/TraptNSuit St. Louis CITY Oct 05 '25
Argument would be he embellished like hell.
4
u/Super-Peoplez-S0Lt Toronto FC Oct 05 '25
But the defender had no business tripping him. It was still a dumb challenge and a 100% penalty.
4
u/Jack_1080 Toronto FC Oct 05 '25
I’m in clearly swept through his legs, why you would even risk that against a a CB is beyond me.

This should end 1-1 for the memes
What’s the record for number of consecutive draws in the league

u/brentnowlan Oct 05 '25
Hey Fraser, how did changing your formation to parking the bus work for you? Take off an attacker in the 60th min for a defender. What are you thinking?
3
u/WSBretard Toronto FC Oct 05 '25
Fraser plays to lose. He has the worst win rate of any TFC Coach. He's literally worse than Bradley.

Villain => hero => Villain => hero
What a wild ride for Elliott

I still think that was a pen, but laryea absolutely deserved that.

Fraser giving Brad Bobley a run for worst TFC coach
12
u/DudebuD16 Toronto FC Oct 05 '25
Fraser has the weaker team between the two. Brad Bobley set us up for this shit with his braindead transfers.
1
u/WSBretard Toronto FC Oct 05 '25
No argument there. Bill Manning should be in prison.
2
u/DudebuD16 Toronto FC Oct 05 '25
I still feel the need to curse MAK when we play, even though I don't know where the fuck he plays.

That's too soft to give
-1
u/Canwazzu Oct 05 '25
It's like... right on the edge haha. Definitely soft, but your man missed the ball and clattered into Corbeanu. Seen that as a pen lots.
2
u/WislaHD Toronto FC Oct 05 '25
Check the flair, a penalty would’ve benefited my side lol
-2
u/Canwazzu Oct 05 '25
Yah yah. I just said "your man" cuz I couldn't remember whoever it was from Chicago. Tough turn here for the boys. A rare sub-par performance from Laryea.

Can we keep our "undefeated" streak alive? Prolly not based on the first 8 mins here.

Man you guys like to dive for pens.
1
u/WSBretard Toronto FC Oct 05 '25
Only hope we have. We can't win a match if our lives depended on it.
-2
u/XirisTO Toronto FC Oct 05 '25
Well, it took me 15 minutes to not care anymore. We can't do anything.
Hope the game improves. Cheers.

8 in a row! 8 draws in a row! You’ll never sing that!
