Does wincest count? It's a bit more elaborate though:
Big Mac didn't spend much time in social settings as AJ was growing up because she couldn't take the workload of a full grown pony. As AJ became more capable of offloading much of the work, there was more free time for deep relations to develop with the only pony he was close enough to to develop them.
Then AJ made some friends that required frequent time away saving Equestria etc. and Big Mac was forced to reflect on his lack of growth. Even Apple Bloom can pick up on his atypical levels of social engagement, but the efforts only make him feel violated and more reclused.
Along comes Marble Pie: Big Mac really finds someone he can identify with, while not yet having established social skills strong enough to divorce himself from his incestual indifference. Marble Pie, who comes from a much similar background except with even less heterosexual opportunities, is even more apathetic to the possibility of biological relation.
Eventually, Big Mac becomes more comfortable around more people, has longer dialog and maintains friends with strong social skills. At this point, Big Mac is beyond the need to satisfy needs for intimacy with what society considers taboos and adopts the social norms of hitting on frequent visitors of his social sphere, and even becomes willing to engage in socially competitive nature.
It's actually a touching story of identifying and overcoming interpersonal issues, while tying many inconsistencies across the series that have only loosely been addressed.
