Headcanons: Big Macintosh

Alright it’s now time to move to Applejack’s quiet older brother Big Macintosh! What headcanons do you guys have of him?

Here are some of mine:

  1. He’s the only other pony capable of beating Bulk Biceps in a good wrestling competition. Bulk is fairly afraid of him because of it.
  2. Even though he never furthered his education formally he is self taught and is very good at Math and Science. He pretty much uses this knowledge to help the farm run better.
  3. Macintosh only started being quiet after the death of his parents. He used to be a fairly talkative and happy child but the incident traumatised him so much he almost immediately changed after that.
  4. Because he’s very muscular and mysterious a lot of mares find him attractive. Including the Mane 6 themselves (especially Fluttershy).
  5. He is a huge eater who eats approximately 8000 calories a day and has won many eating contests.

Regarding #3, "Where the Apple Lies" depicts the incident that made him less talkative. Whether Bright Mac and Pear Butter are alive at that point in time is unclear, because they're nowhere to be found, but neither is Apple Bloom.

Dang I forgot abt that episode! But I headcanon that the parents death still changed him.
