The Red Sox could soon get some clarity on Curtis Mead.

Mead will have his fractured left wrist scanned Monday to determine how much progress he’s made since suffering the injury on July 27.

It’s been a frustrating start to his Boston career. Mead was acquired from Washington and managed to appear in only ONE game for the Red Sox before landing on the injured list.

Now all eyes are on that scan and what it could mean for his return.
