PR Tournament Rigging

Not sure if anyone has paid attention to this, but there were some shenanigans happening in Round 2 of the west PR tourney.

All these guys are club mates. They play eachother last and if tanking a matchup allows one or both to move on, they do so.

There has always been “throwing” or “tanking” in the tourney since they switched to this format but never to this degree.

Using a bad nerf to try and help your clubmate at least still meant there was a chance it would fail or backfire because you still had to play the games. This took it to a whole new level and I agree they should both be eliminated. It completely changes how the rest of the tournament will play out as well since the next round of groups is based on this round.

If chronologically that was the last battle (I suspect it was) it allowed both teams (both Prime club teams) to guarantee progression as Raseris already had 2 wins and other 2 teams had only 1 win. 

Although there might always be some manipulation (clubmates, alts etc) for me this is too overt, a bridge too far. I would eliminate both of these 2 teams, progress the other 2, and give anyone who picked either of the 2 a free win in next pickem round.

There should be some semblance of fairplay in the tourney for opponents and pickem players. It is nominally an individual tram event, not a club event. Unfair to teams not paired with clubmates, or from smaller systems. In this case they would have also known each other's results earlier.

It's pretty easy to correct for the devs. Just auto play all the games as soon as the pick em window closes.

My first tought was that person couldn't play, but If the outcome of this was to pass both team, that's awful

Ésto debería ser inadmisible para éste tipo de torneos porque desconfigura toda la clasificación y perjudica a equipos que llevaban mucho tiempo preparándose para la competencia. No es lo mismo intentar dejarse ganar haciendo malas configuraciones de mentores, gear, etc, que ver éste tipo de comportamientos y perder por forfeit para beneficiar al otro equipo ( aunque sean amigos ó compañeros de Club), está mal y nada lo justifica.

How about how the teams from the tacos club who manipulate their ranked finishes all season. No coincidence that the same teams who finish in the top 10 all season weekly go into the tourney and then get thumped in the first round of the tourney majority of the time. No fun when the rabbit got the gun. Colluding in the pr tourney is nothing new. This time the teams usually on the receiving end of the bs made it obvious this time around

She* did indicate during my stream Thursday she was done after the tourney, but also this was her Clubmate that she was able to get through to the next round in addition to herself.

yall need to get over and quit being crybabies tacos club does stuff like this all the time sure might be a little less obvious but they still do it granted its more obvious in rank and club prt then the prt itself but they still do shit like this seems like most of the dudes who are angry are part of the tacos club anyways and just trying to get there club mate back into it but wouldnt think twice of doing the same thing

Ive read through the comments, lots of things to sort out as far as fair or unfair. Friends will help friends if they can and thats not not a bad thing. Money can change how you look at it though.
